This might be a weird thing to confess but I think talking to animals is just as cool as talking to other people so whatever. I keep finding myself talking to this lil bird and I keep getting the feeling they're talking back.

After being trapped for an unknown amount of time in a world that operates on dream logic, there are a few things I have realized I've forgotten were important. Eating, sleeping, waste expulsion. None of it is necessary in the Dark Place, although some of it is possible (depending on one's ability to interact with the dream).

Which is to say after two weeks aboard this ship, I have finally realized that I am famished. So if anyone has some good food recommendations from any of the restaurants around here, please share.

I'd like you to head up our new Intelligence Department. You're wasted in weapons, and with some changes around here, you'd be the best fit.

INTELLIGENCE - NEWLY MINTED DIVISION * Sherlock Holmes, Stede Bonnet, Hob Gladling, PJ Halliwell & Kate Bishop + Bucky Barnes, Cassian Andor & Matt Anderson

After analyzing our needs and our growing numbers and a conversation with a new arrival, we've added an addition division under our Marine Department.

The Intelligence Group will be run by Bucky Barnes with three divisions:

• Data Analysis - Headed by Sherlock Holmes
  
• Data Archive Management
  
• Investigations
  

Stede - The Library operations will be moving under this division; while your position does not change, who you report to does change.

PJ & Kate - You two have been placed in our Investigation unit. You'll be working closely with the diplomats and the rest of intelligence. PJ, your job is pretty much the same. I expect you to show Kate the ropes and fill her in on what you've been doing.

Hob - With your background we've also moved you to be an analyst, please report to Sherlock Holmes.

I don't mean to interrupt all the reunions, but if you were tripped by an overeager astromech droid recently, I apologize. Artoo can be very enthusiastic, and there's really no stopping him when he wants to explore a new place. Half the time, I lose track of him, which is how we get so many head-on collisions.

For now, I'd suggest keeping an eye on any speeding droids. I promise he's harmless mostly.

I hope you know you're both brave, and I'm glad to know both of you.

I'm not one to offer advice on matters of the heart but if the owner of the secret I got is out there and wants to talk about it, I've the ear of a bartender and you can tell me anything. It'll also come with an amusing story about what happened after my so-called secret.

The little note I got is so sad. Someone is in love with a lost person. I do hope the person is still alive and only lost to the writer, although that is terribly sad too.

Given the large number of us here, I'd wager this may be someone from home, but I'm not blind enough to know we weren't the only ones here dealing with a war or two. Regardless, no matter who you are or what world or time you come from&mdash: war is an ugly business. I know that better than most. We do things during them, because of them, and after them that none of us look back on with fondly. Some more than others.

We survive the best we can, and as long as you aren't acting like a bloody tit anymore? Best to take advantage of your new start here and try leaving whatever happened behind you.
