I'd like to offer my congratulations to Rose Ward, Cassian Andor, and Christopher Pike on their new roles, as well as everyone else who received a promotion.

Our new mission and journey should be an interesting one, can't say I'll ever turn down a chance to explore a new world. Though, I hope we face fewer kidnappings.

Apparently all I could make were people-shaped cookie cutters and one bell? But the people shaped ones are very good. Who wants to swing by and make gingerbread people with me?

I want to know why all my pets keep disappearing—first the panda, then the polar bears, and now the reindeer. Does the ship think I can't be trusted?

At least the teddy bear in the advent calendar I got was nice. His name is Spock.

Also, I'm building up an impressive snowglobe collection, have you looked at them? Like really looked at them? They're kind of crazy.

I'm already in the mood for Christmas biscuits and treats. The reindeer aren't making it any easier to resist the temptation to bake up a storm of Christmas and Hanukkah goodies.

I never expected Bison to be so cuddly. But here I am with one in my office begging for hugs and scritches.

I've even seen one of the polar bears curled up with a bison!

Found a super cute moose plush on my bed today. Named him Sam after a really good friend of mine. (If you ever get the opportunity to meet Sam, you'll understand.)

Anyway, took him to Threads, bought him a plaid shirt, and now he is living his best life sitting on my desk at work. If he behaves, might take him out for ice cream after.

I haven't been here very long butit's certainly been eventful. Today I found a door in my room that hadn't been there before and I decided to open it because I'm too curious for my own good. Turns out it led to a place that meant a lot to me once and I was excited to have a chance to show it to Rey but when I went back to get her and we went in, there was nothing there. It was just an empty room. Thankfully she's used to weird things happening too so she didn't think I was crazy but yeah, that was weird.

So I woke up and a panda was eating bamboo in my room. I've never seen one up close before! They are mostly extinct in my time (except for the ones you see in zoos). Can I keep him? There is plenty of bamboo around here to feed him for ages.

I'm not saying that I believe in the concept of a multiverse, but if you are going to kidnap a girl from her world, doing it while I'm on a beach holiday with my husband is not the ideal time.

I had plans for the wine that came along for the ride, and it wasn't sharing it with loads of people on a spaceship. This thing looks like it came from one of those muggle TV shows Harry watches sometimes.

Any body that brings me a steak and chips wins a prize! What that prize is? I don't know. Maybe it's a handful out of Remus' chocolate stash. (You know he has the good stuff). Maybe it's a balloon animal made out of a rubber glove. Bring me the goods and find out!!

None of us are novices when it comes to treating injuries. Nor is this the first mission where our colleagues and friends have returned with injuries both minor and severe. Everyone's schedule has been adjusted until everyone is released from medical. While I am counting on you to know your limits, I will routinely check in and enforce rest if I see you've worked longer than scheduled. Our patients need us at our best, meaning we must also take care of ourselves and rest.

We will temporarily add additional healers to our rotation and assign security to manage crowd control. I will not bar family members from coming to sit with their loved ones, but I will limit them to two at a time and for no longer than an hour.

Filter: Those w/Medical/Healing Experience

We have received word that a few away team members have been seriously injured during the mission. The full severity of their injuries is unknown, but I have been given clearance to temporarily reassign you all to Medical until all of our patients have been released.

We have received word that [enter name] has been injured on the last mission. Medical is preparing to receive them and further assess their injuries. I ask that you please wait before flooding into the medical bay. My team needs room to best assess the care that your loved ones need. We will not be barring you from seeing them, though we will limit each patient to two at a time for no more than an hour. Visiting hours will be from 0800 to 2000 with no exceptions.
