To Variety Show staff and Performers

Now, I wasn't planning on doing anything special for Valentine's Day within the show but some guests have shown interest in the idea so thoughts on what we could include is appreciated. Power ballad evening? We can have Stroud dress up as Cupid? open to ideas, people.

Also, we will be doing an afternoon show so you and your loved one can attend the dance after, I'm not completely heartless.

That's the last time I mix a late night show and half a bottle of champagne.

I've been having weird dreams lately. Have you?

Show-related dreams are no joke. I woke up this morning almost convinced that we changed the show to where everyone was dressed as a primate. As if Planet of the Apes decided to put on Jesus Christ Superstar.

With everything that has been happening of late, I failed to mention that I received a gift from home awhile back. The text that arrived with me barely scratches the surfaces about the magic of my world. And most of what I've contributed has been from memory. The trunk I received, while not the full extent of the literature I possessed back home, does contain many of the rarer texts that I had acquired. We might find something to aid us in one of them. And if not that's all right. I know we'll find the answer somewhere.

I've removed the protective charms from all of them so, no harm will come to anyone not of my bloodline, who touches them. With the exception of the two that are in elvish, all are in Latin. I'll translate the elvish texts as best I can but I'll admit I am a bit rusty and it might take me a bit longer to do so than I would have in the past.

Perhaps we should all meet tonight or tomorrow over dinner and we can begin looking at these together.

I've more chocolate than I know what to do with after the holidays. If anyone would like some, there's plenty. It may not change the situation, but I've found it can help lift the spirit just a little.

Do any of you have experience working with werewolves? I've been having a difficult time adjusting to a place without a moon cycle, and I was hoping one of you might be able to assist. There's no rush — I realise this isn't necessarily a priority, but I'd appreciate the help.

I’d wager a load of us lost people, from what I’m hearing. I’ll be down at The Elle drinking a toast to Oliver, if anyone wants to join.

It appears our troubles with intake are not as resolved as it seems. We were able to send some people back, but others who had asked to go back seem to be stuck here. We’ve tested the systems and we can’t find anything technically wrong, but we have a handful of people we can’t seem to send through the portal.

We are continuing to work on it. I’ll update you on any progress we make, but I suspect this is one of those things we won’t be able to fix.

As of this morning all comatose crew members have awoken. We still have no answers to the cause of their coma's but we know it was not contagious. We'll continue to review the data we have and be better prepared should this happen again. I've allowed them all to return to their own quarters but they each need to report to Medical tomorrow morning. And I'd prefer they wait a full 48 hours before returning to work.

Though we haven't yet determined the cause of our colleagues coma's, I am proud of all of you. Despite the long hours and uncertainty you all continued to give your best. With all of our patients now awake and no sign of a pathogen, I'm declaring the Medical emergency over. The previously comatose have been given the option of returning to their own beds for the evening and reporting for a final checkup tomorrow. As of now, Medical will function with a skeleton staff for the remainder of the day and duty shifts will return to their normal schedule tomorrow. Please take time for yourself and truly rest.

However, if by late afternoon you still have not reported, a team will be sent to retrieve you. An hour ago Medical was alerted that Kelly Grayson was found unresponsive. Initial tests have not revealed any pathogens and brain functionality appears normal. As of now we have no answer for why she is in a coma.

The last time this occurred it was not an isolated case so, I do expect to receive a few more cases as the day progresses. There were other factors involved due to everyone of us living alternative lives but still no discernible cause. I'll have an update on the situation by the end of the day.

I apologize for the short notice but all staff is to report for duty within the next 30 minutes. We'll have a brief meeting in my office at that time.

Forget the sky, there's falling cookies, and I'm so gonna collect every single last one of them I can until this stops.
