Out of curiosity...how long does it take for something to go away here? Because I'm still getting the Avengers-level awesomeness whenever I eat nuts.

I'm helping Captain Kirk plan the party for Christmas Eve and I volunteered to take over the Secret Santa portion since i love doing stuff like that. So if you want to participate, let me know by Tuesday so I can put everyone's names in a bag, mix them up and give out assignments.

So it looks like Captain Pike is doing two dinners this year, but he's going to cook for us on Christmas Eve. Who wants to do a Secret Santa? You have eleven days to get gifts. Maybe nothing too extravagant, but no limit?

Also, let's help Pike out by making it a potluck. I know bread has been requested, but let me know (a) if you want to do the Secret Santa and (b) what you want to bring for us to eat. If you can't cook, store bought is fine.

[OOC: I do plan on making a Lounge post about this around the 22nd to let everyone say what they brought gift wise, what they brought food wise, what they wore, etc., like the mistletoe logs. Or should I put it in IC? This is all new to me...]

It's nice to be back in my room after being stuck on the bridge for two days. I suppose it's a good thing I had Orion with me. Apparently I am now a 'dog dad'.

Those of you who were stuck on duty Aug 9 & 10 have had your upcoming shift schedules adjusted and aren't expected on duty for the next few days.

• Starbuck, you'll be taking the first group - command down to the planet in one of the shuttles and double-checking everything is ready for us when we land.
  
• Paul, you'll be backing up Erica as needed, we might need two people at the helm.

Attention Crew -

On June 7th, we will be landing on Atlas Planet, an outpost of Atlantis, for some routine ship maintenance and a chance for all of us to take a break.

Each member of the crew is ordered to take June 7-28th off. You'll find information about the planet here. Please read up and get ready for a fantastic trip.

The day we land, there will be a welcome party, past that you are on your own and can decide what you want to do. The last night on the 27th, there will also be an event, and you must be on board by 0:900 on the 28th.

Please read everything over everything, and if you have questions, let us know.
