Mission Atlantis

It's fantastic to be back on the mothership and no longer living life as a cartoon.

Now that I'm back, I want to talk to all of you about QUIDDITCH.

For those not familiar, it's a magical sport played on brooms. If you were in Atlantis, you might remember I ran a league there and now that I've gotten the holodeck program up and running (thanks to a lot of help from people smarter than me!), I'll be ready to hold some trials and split all who want to play into teams.

If you've never played before and want to learn, I've got people lined up to help teach you. We'll have some open practice sessions over the next few days with tryouts being held on AUGUST 12th!

I'm proposing a pub night. Alicia's pizza thing is tomorrow and I suppose we should think about not being completely smashed for it, so tonight and we replicate hangover potions in the morning or we can leave off to the weekend.

It's been a while since I hosted a classic pizza night.

Given training schedules, the 9th. August 9th, stop by CR103, I've already worked on transfiguring the kitchen to work better, and this will be perfect for a pizza party.

Probably should have asked... But you did leave Roo behind with other me! So, you've got to deal with a pizza party.

As much as I enjoy watermelon, I'd rather not have them sprout up in the middle of the armory.

We've done a lot of training, but in the spirit of all the team-building exercises going on, and since we weren't pulled in for the current mission, I've planned a night out in Blake Park. After sundown Friday, our objective will be to find and assemble pieces of a puzzle once all pieces are collected. The pieces are marked, but some may be harder to retrieve than others, both because of the location or what or who** are hiding or guarding them. And to that point, I had no part in hiding them, so I'll be on the same level you are.

Any questions, now's the time to ask.

[**Bucky would've asked 5-7 people to help with the hiding of the pieces mentioned. Feel free to volunteer either as someone who hid them (using just their natural skills or magic or whatever else) or is lying in wait with the piece(s) itself. Feel free to comment under the second filter if you want one of yours part of this; I'll strike all this out once I have enough. Also, the picture linked is just an ideaish of what he had in mind.]

I have to admit these team-building exercises aren't bad, especially if we get to play capture the flag again.

Looks like the lighting situation was fixed, that's a relief. That green color the flashlights were giving off truly was foul.

Well, that was something. Good to be back on the ship, would've been nice not to have two of my team members disappear, but we work with what we're dealt with, right?
