Hello denizens of Weststar!

It's a brand new month, and you know what that means? Yes, it means a brand new month of activities!

It's also February which means....LOVE IS IN THE AIR!

We will be hosting a very special Valentine's Dance on board. Whether single, taken, or anything in between, we encourage you to come and dance until your feet fall off!

Now, for those of you that would like to take a date, we will be hosting a speed dating event on Sunday, February 11th! This is a 21 and up event, and all are welcome to attend, crew or guest. You could be lucky and meet the love of your life!

[OOC: For those interested, I would like to run the speed dating as an actual event in game. I have created a sign up form for anyone interested. Please keep in mind that you will need to fill it out for each character you plan to have attend. Everyone should be able to access it, but if you can't, please let me know via Discord or email, and I will resend it!]

Do you hate heights? What about heights and high speeds? Then you're really going to hate the air taxis. I'm pretty sure the one I just took broke the sound barrier — it was amazing. Not something I expected from a sightseeing tour. They should really advertise those as an amusement ride.

So this time showing up here I have to do school and work but last time I didn't. Interesting. What's the school like here? What subjects are taught? Is there a separation based on age/grade/insert your scholastic box of choice here, or is it everyone in the same space and doing basically the same stuff? Are there holidays here? Do we get school holidays, or is it just full on 5 days a week constantly, no breaks? Because that one's going to be kind of rough.

I've had worse days in less interesting places, but I have to say, I'm still not sure how I feel about this one. And whoever got the idea I'd be one for following orders? Forget the lieutenant. Call me River.

It's after Christmas, you'd think the mistletoe would give up by now.

At least it's that and not a tree that's trying to kill you. I'm just saying, insurance doesn't cover damaged furniture and a bedroom door.

If anyone hasn't heard yet, last month I found a family of stow away Schipperkes. (A breed of small black dog from earth.) There are five puppies; two bitches, three dogs and their Mom. I have been looking out for them, but they'll be ready for new homes after Christmas. Possibly all six, I'm not sure if Mom wants to stay with me or not.

Let me know if you are interested in adopting and I'll arrange a time to come and meet them.

Also, I hate the Mistletoe.
