Those of you in need of warmth:

The kitchens are still functional. I've set up in one of them and the heat from the stove is sufficient to keep the snow from accumulating. It's damp in here (snow is still falling) but there's hot tea and warm soup, and my roommate the good Dr Watson will check people for cold injuries.

Cover your hair as much as you can. Wear a cap, or wrap something over your head. The wetter it gets, the worse off you'll be. Same with your feet. Use your bedlinens to wrap cloaks that will keep heat against your body.

I also have a small number of wool tunics and heavy socks that will help keep the damp off. They are still dry. I know some are ill or have old injuries. If you need something warm, it's yours until the snow stops.

Now, for the other issues: it's snowing on all levels of the hotel I can access by elevator. It seems to be snowing elsewhere on the grounds. I have seen such things before, and my experience suggests there is an individual responsible. If this weather is like what we see in my country, they will be nearby. Probably inside the hotel somewhere.

I think it's time for another look around. Would anyone like to join me?

As you're all aware, on Monday night the New York, New York casino was attacked and the replica of the Statue of Liberty destroyed. Since Delacroix's painting, Libertas has come to represent freedom, justice, brotherhood and equality for all people and every nation. And to destroy a symbol of Liberty is a threat not against America, but against everyone who appreciates, benefits and believes in what she represents.

I want everyone here to know that the Avengers are doing everything that we can to make sure nothing like this happens again and to take care of those responsible for this unnecessary, violent act. But I also know that we can't do it alone, and so I'm asking for your support and co-operation. I know some of you don't know us, I know we might be from a different world or universe, but I can promise you that we are here to help and always will be.

Some of you have gifts and talents that we could use, and I'm sure that protecting people is important to each and every one of you. As it stands right now, while we're here -- we're not being granted the liberties that we deserve. We're being held against our will by something we don't understand. But I won't see any more of them revoked and I won't see the people here terrorized. If any of you think you might be able to, or would like to help. Please come talk to me. Thomas Jefferson once said - "Do you want to know who you are? Don't ask. Act! Action will delineate and define you." I know what it's like to want to act, want to do the right thing, and be told you can't or aren't able to so I promise I'll do my best to help you do yours.

I suggested it to Clint, but now I'm bringing it to all of you. If the person responsible is an arrival like us. That means he has access to a lot of the same information that we do, and that means if we're going to organise a base of operations, it ought to be outside of the hotel. Either in the one of the other resorts, or in the city at large. Does anyone have any ideas where we should go? I was thinking maybe we could take over a part of The Boulevard in Paris. There's a lot of storage spaces and connecting hallways behind the Parisian streets that might give us the freedom to move around unseen, and it's close.

Well. This is nothing like the last time I was in Las Vegas. That time, for example, was mostly consensually. Minus Rhodey's attempts to interfere with my lucky streak. I mean, yes, I was down, but I still had time to turn it around.

They've got me typing on a phone I wouldn’t have voluntarily used in 2003. But if these assholes think they can brick my electronic devices, they don’t know who they’re dealing with. Okay, as far as kidnappings go - and really, do they go - can I just say, I wasn't expecting Vegas? Maybe, I'm used to places that are a little more, I dunno. Dark and damp.

Right, I'm going to need a computer that can connect to something other than this network. Like the real internet. Something that can access Netflix or S.H.I.E.L.D. I'm really not picky.

And, a tuna fish sandwich would be nice. I'm a Bellagio sorta guy, by the way. I wouldn't object being booked elsewhere either.

Someone please explain to me how I can stop having these wretched songs sung at all hours of the night in my hall. I have requested the tireless choir cease during hours of the night but they tell me I "lack Christmas spirit" and should join them in song. While I may now, technically, know the chorus of "Santa Claus is coming to town" I will not be joining in any "reindeer games".

I cannot sleep under this endless assault. Is there no way to stop them or at least make it quiet enough I cannot hear them any time I am in my room?
