Why do I feel like I'm losing time?

A part of me still feels like this whole place is an illusion. The elves running around aren't exactly helping. Neither is the fact that half my memories of the past few weeks are hazy and I mean, I already knew elves existed, I've encountered plenty of them back home, but... Christmas decorations? Really? Shouldn't they be trying to kill us rather than just embarrassing us with mistletoe?

Okay everyone.

I'm going to be in the Mandalay Ballroom from about 3-6 tomorrow, Wednesday the 20th.  Anyone who'd like to meet their fellow prisoners can join me there.  I'll be making a list of everyone who comes, what their skills are, that sort of thing.  We don't know what this place has planned for us so it'd be a good idea to get a feel for just who and what we have to work with here.

Many of you have been taken not only from your homes, but from your families and loved ones. Forced here against your will, no longer able to trust even your own senses let alone anyone else.

I am truly sorry. I know well what it's like to be taken in by strangers and weaned on lies and deception. I know well the sense of injustice you must be feeling. That there is some force, some entity, that deemed their destiny for you more important than the future you may have chosen for yourselves.

I wish each person here to know that without bitterness or malice, I shall do everything within the realm of my abilities to help uncover the truth of this place, and until then -- I wish to offer my services to all those who need them. My magic seems unfettered much by these surroundings, and if I can use it to make anyone more comfortable -- all you must do is ask.
