I'm assuming some raw materials might be hard to come by, if we want to take on manufacturing, but I'd be a lot less worried if you should probably have something to do besides taking full advantage of the complimentary everything in this city.

Well. This is nothing like the last time I was in Las Vegas. That time, for example, was mostly consensually. Minus Rhodey's attempts to interfere with my lucky streak. I mean, yes, I was down, but I still had time to turn it around.

They've got me typing on a phone I wouldn’t have voluntarily used in 2003. But if these assholes think they can brick my electronic devices, they don’t know who they’re dealing with. It seems that I have found this hidden realm of Lost Vegas. It is a curious civilization indeed that built these glistening halls, adorned with palm trees and feathered women.

How have we come to be here?

Many of you have been taken not only from your homes, but from your families and loved ones. Forced here against your will, no longer able to trust even your own senses let alone anyone else.

I am truly sorry. I know well what it's like to be taken in by strangers and weaned on lies and deception. I know well the sense of injustice you must be feeling. That there is some force, some entity, that deemed their destiny for you more important than the future you may have chosen for yourselves.

I wish each person here to know that without bitterness or malice, I shall do everything within the realm of my abilities to help uncover the truth of this place, and until then -- I wish to offer my services to all those who need them. My magic seems unfettered much by these surroundings, and if I can use it to make anyone more comfortable -- all you must do is ask.
