Well, it appears we have found ourselves in the new year. And still no way home. That's very discouraging, but we should not give up.

What a night!

I had found myself at a block party that featured Blues Traveler and Papa Roach just one thing, I don’t have a clue who they are. Then again I didn't care for I was PARTYING like there was no tomorrow. Also it didn't help at I could hold my alcohol to then again I did win 500.00 from a poor sucker who dare me to drink a hold jug of moonshine!

Another year over, and a new one's begun.

Since it looks like we may be here over the holidays, I thought that it would be nice to organize a sort of Secret Santa exchange. It might give some of us a chance to get to know each other better and it might lift some spirits as I imagine some of us are missing people back home.

So let me know if you're interested in participating. I think that I'll keep sign-ups open until December 9th and after that, I'll give everyone their Secret Santa and you can start leaving gifts. Just let me know who you are, your room number if you're comfortable with that, and if you want to let us know what some of your interests are that could help the person buying for you.

I know people are leaving it seems, I keep wondering if perhaps people are still showing up?

I'd love for Mom to show up, she needs a break and this would be the best one for her, plus I feel wrong being here and she's not.
