Aw, prom. I didn't go to my senior prom, but my junior prom. That I went to. It was a lot of fun for the most part. There was a lot of slow dancing to "Bleeding Love" and "How to Save A Life" because apparently the DJ didn't listen to the lyrics at all, but everything got really exciting when my boyfriend drove me home after the dance. I (being sixteen and having watched plenty of teen shows and movies, therefore I knew exactly what was to come next) told him that I loved him as "I Kissed A Girl" played in the background on his radio. He told me, and I quote, "I wish I felt the same," took me home, and sped off. I kept dating the guy for another six months.

Annnyway, that's not a very uplifting story, I'm realizing now in retrospect. I'm sure prom will go way better for everyone else than it did for me. 👍 👍 Just make sure the songs you're slow dancing to are actual love songs.
