You’re all aware of our current situation regarding the twenty patches that went rogue. I’ve been informed by the Mayor that APD will be stopping anyone with a patch and questioning them. So while you’re out on the streets be prepared to be stopped and remember that we’re trying to maintain a hold on the little bit of good will we’ve been given by the government types. Anyone found starting shit with them will have to answer to me.

We will be increasing our patrols around the city in an effort to catch the rogue Hellhounds. I'm writing to people of the Library and Dog Park to get out the truth -- it's true that I've been returned to the library by my kidnappers. As I'm sure you've all seen on the Freenet, I was taken by the US Government. I still don't approve of the drastic measures that were taken (as I was literally ripped away from my brother's side while out for a walk with our dog) but I think that their intentions are genuine.

Olinger was holding our city hostage and President Hemings has zero experience in negotiating a situation like that. It took them a long time to figure out how to resolve it, but thankfully our city was spared and Olinger has been brought to justice. I've been assured that he and those closest to him will pay for their crimes. I'm also relieved that his successor is someone I trust and whose moral fiber is stronger than just about anyone I know: Nina Clarke.

I know it's going to take time for the US Government to earn our trust, but I am cautiously optimistic that this will be a good turn for Austin.

Citizens of Austin, My name is Angelica Hemings and I am the President of the United States. As of today, the Third of June, 2019, Reeves Olinger no longer holds the post of Mayor of Austin, Texas. Due to his regime's numerous violations of human and legal rights, the suppression of medical treatment, withholding of resources and utilities, and a farcical approach to urban and governmental leadership, his removal has long been overdue. His immediate colleagues -- the Commissioner of the Department of Resources, the Commissioner of the Department of Justice, the Warden of La Quinta Prison, and all Patrolmen -- have also been removed from their posts. I regret to inform you that Mr. Olinger was named to this post by my predecessor, President Thomas Boonman, who led the United States from September 2016 to April 2018. Mr. Olinger fed falsified reports to our administration, indicating the safety and wellbeing of your communities while claiming that Praxacaterol was only being used to test an efficacy of a zombie virus cure. Every mention and attempt on our part to move forward towards resolution and his removal was met with severe threats and claims to bomb the Austin as a whole, effectively creating a city-wide hostage situation that has only just now been defused.
