I've moved into the UMCB. I have my own room and everything.

I can also still be reached at the Capitol. Kind of.

A friend was kind enough to get me a new pair of boots-- and as soon as I'm able to venture back out into the zombie wasteland, I'm going to find myself a fucking sweater. If anyone would like to tag along, the idea of someone being the James West to my Artemis Gordon or Peter Finch to my Peter O'Toole would be nice. Help with particularly unruly zombies would be appreciated.

You know what I'm realizing, the longer I stay here?

I need a new hobby. When I was on my own, I didn't really think about anything like free time or things I liked or anything like that, but now I'm at the Dog Park and have Freenet access and no way to watch any old films. Forget new films! I'll never go to the movie theatre again. And I'll never be a waitress again, either, but I'm just realizing how much time that took up in my life.

So. Hobbies. What should I learn?

So, I've had a half dozen sofas pulled out of storage, and I happen to have located a tub of popcorn kernels and a copy of The Great Escape.

Charlie and I will be in the T.G. Frost Capitol Theatre at 8pm tonight for a showing of our benefactor's favorite movie, for anybody who is able and interested. The popcorn won't have butter, alas, but I'll find something to make that less sad...



(And before anybody tries to give the 'blah de blah apocalypse, blah de blah people are suffering' spiel - if people can take an hour out of their day for sex or wash or self-reproach proselytization, I can take a couple out of mine to watch a movie.)

so i know zombies probably rank as one of the scariest things out there right now but man you should see some of the mannequins lying await for you in the stores they are legit creepy as fuck like chill down your spine madre de dios creepy im not joking

i went into a shop today everything was cool until id reached the back and these jerks were waiting on the other side scared the LIVING SHIT outta me especially when one of them almost fell right on top of me but its alright now because ive covered all of their faces up with boxer briefs

But you're missing something good. And I'm bringing it to you. You can thank Zhenya for this. But I'm going to clean up this bar I've been living at for the past couple weeks to make it actually fully functional and running again. You're welcome, Austin.

I need a few things to help me get going:

- Any fabric, foam, or padding you can spare
- Nails
- Screws
- Bolts
- HDMI cable
- Double AA batteries
- Power strip (the more the merrier)
- Old pet cages and fish tanks or fish bowls
