I can't believe this is really earth-that-was and we're in the past. I always wondered wondered what it was like. There were stories this and legends that, but ain't nothin compared to actually bein there. Here! I wonder just how different tech is! And ships! I know they don't got none around here that actually fly but I'd love to see em anyway.

I retired, you know. Just recently. And now I'm here. In this hellhole. No offense, if you like it here, but I was just married.



Literally. Ten minutes ago. And my wife isn't here. Do you know what I had to go through the last two seasons for my love? A lot. I had to die for it. Isabella was engaged to an eleven year old.


Now I have a twin not-brother and no princess. And Sid was right about metal zipper things and he's never going to let me live it down. This is where I would normally make threats, such a "bring my wife to me or I will slice through all of you" yet something tells me that wouldn't work. I need a drink.

New year, new semester, new classes. At least that's how it's supposed to work, but we've lost a few doctors this month, and that's left me a little short-handed. And busy. I don't think I'll sleep again until June.

Don't follow in my footsteps, kids.

If there's anyone with a background in science and/or medicine who'd be willing to pass on their knowledge to others, let me know. I know our population's changed a lot lately, which is all the more reason to make sure we teach other people what we know, so that everyone's in good shape. I could always use the help with teaching, since I'm juggling this and my day job. Dr. Crusher was leading seminars on women's health and maternal/newborn care, for example, and I could use someone to teach biology. Or triage. Or whatever else you want to pass on. Let me know.

And if anyone wants to learn, enrollment starts now. We'll go over your prior knowledge so we don't force you to sit through things you already know. We'll get going again in February.

I've woken up in unfamiliar places before... usually naked. This time I was clothed and about 50 years in the future. That's a new one even for me.

Uh, Dr. Bruce Banner here. I was told to use this to connect with some people I may know who are already here.

My arrival a few days ago sparked more drama than I had anticipated. But for anyone that had been poking about, I am not a demon. Firmly sold on that fact, thank you.

I owe it to myself and all of you for a proper introduction, I suppose. I know my brother is fond of going by our last name, but you can simply call me Bethany. I'm a mage, like apparently Garrett, though our fields of specialization seem to be different. I'll be working in Medical, as a healer. It's not something I've done full time in ... a great many years, but I have skill and quite a lot of practice healing people in battle and after.

I'm choosing to take this place as a bit of a retirement. I've spent a great many years underground and on the move, always in battle. Without Darkspawn here, I think I'm content to enjoy the quiet that this place has to offer. Most days.

It's a bit like home in this regard, but I understand not everyone is comfortable or familiar with the idea of magic, so if you have any questions, please feel free to ask. I promise I'm quite easy to get along with. And much prettier than my brother.

You know, my mother never liked Fenris. My mother never liked anyone I was with. Half the time I wasn't even sure if she liked me. She wanted me to marry up, you know. I might have been able to. We'll never know now.

I have no idea why I'm telling you this. It seems as if we've moved beyond answering questions and right into things-you-didn't-want-to-know. This would be a great time to ask me disgustingly personal questions. You shouldn't, but you could

Medical is doing everything we can to put people back together, but we need your help to stay organized and make sure everyone gets the care that they need, so we're asking for the following:

First and foremost, check your phones. We are way, way too busy to be keeping an updated list of where everyone is or how hurt they are right now. Send your loved ones messages and keep an eye on the network so you don't miss them. We have a lot of people coming in and out of the hospital area right now, but I'd say the chaos is only semi-organized.

We have enough injured people that we're running out of space inside the hospital itself, so we're setting up tables, chairs and cots in the hallway just outside for smaller injuries. If you are not bleeding profusely, dying, or are otherwise in need of immediate life-saving, please go to the people outside the hospital. The only people we want to see inside the hospital are ones who need more long-term care. If you need some stitches before heading home, we simply do not have enough room.

Volunteers! Anyone with medical experience or who can assist and isn't a bloody mess, we need you. I'm not exaggerating when I say most people in Mount Weather need some kind of help today. If you can't help in medical, they need help doing clean up, or looking through the rest of the base for injured people who can't make it to medical themselves. Many of the sanitation staff need care, just like everyone else; if you aren't bedridden or immobile or generally limping about, you need to be helping out right now.

I know we all care for our loved ones and desperately wish to be by their sides when they're in the hospital, but please, for the next couple of days, visits to long-term patients should be kept short, and visitors should only come one at a time to reduce crowding. We'll make exceptions for parents with small children, but we have a lot of people and not a lot of hospital to put them in. Please trust us to take care of your friends and family. We're trying our hardest and it will be easier on us without lots of visitors underfoot, so no camping out at bedsides this time.

Anyone with magic or powers that can heal or reduce pain, now is the time to use them, even if you're not in practice with your healing spells. Our supplies are limited and we desperately need to reduce how much of them we use.

I can answer questions now because I'm on break, whether I want to be or not.

Right. Not where I expected to end up, but I'm glad to see the Earth's survived to 2150. And I don't see any strange planets in the sky. At least we're in the right place in the solar system. No sign of Daleks so far, that's a very good thing. We must've done something right back in 2008. Or, somebody else must have. Not sure I was around in this universe - and I'll admit that's a sentence I wasn't expecting to say anytime soon.

Erik Lehnsherr was brought in. He's comatose. Vitals are low but stable. It's something powers-related, something about his ... life force being absorbed by another person. I don't know. It's not in my pay grade.

I don't know if this is the kind of thing that improves with time, or if he's going to stay like this. Raven says this person just touched him. I don't know how to diagnose that.
