Is this really legit? Romanoff seems to think so, but she also likes to play that game where you can't tell if she's serious or not.

Is anyone else really, really confused by the suddenly vocal wave of antipathy for the Grounders? Did I miss a memo? Did someone draw penises on Councilor Wolverine's face while he was sleeping? Did one of them bring a bag of salad to a Superbowl party? Not to mention that "the Grounders" is a really broad term for numerous and diverse tribes with their own sets of rules, alliances, and cultures.

I'm good with hating people - it's my fav! - but generally I like to be in the know on the why.

Also, to continue the tone of this combative entry, The Princess Bride is mediocre at best and you guys can come at me.

Jim Kirk was admitted to medical with an infected wound, after an examination with Nurse Chapel. We're still attempting to isolate exactly what it is, but it's a nasty bugger. The things we know so far is that it's quickly spread and it's not responding to traditional antibiotics or magic.

As such, we've placed Mr. Kirk under a temporary quarantine here at the hospital, along with those he lives with. We very much apologize for any inconveniences this might cause, but I promise you we're going to attempt to make it as quick and painless as possible, it's only until we isolate the infection and figure out how contagious it is.

Better to be safe than sorry, I'm afraid. We'll be working overtime to come up with a treatment and cure, and monitoring anyone else that might have come in contact with Mr. Kirk. Bravo Squadron, please come to medical today for a full checkup. I don't want to have to hunt you down, but I will if I don't hear from you by noon. We don't believe it's that far spread, but as I said - better to be safe than sorry.

I plan on releasing a public statement when we know more of the symptoms, to follow up on this. If you're head of anyone in the military that receives a wound, please make sure they receive proper medical care. Any wound at all, even a small one. If anyone under your command becomes feverish or develops a rash, send them to us immediately.

Where exactly do we put in the requests to the "pod god" for more caffeine, and other supplies before they too start becoming scarce?

We have marching orders.

We and Squad Charlie will be investigating the area for signs of the following:
- the presence of a sled
- anything turned to stone
- a tall woman clad in white, possibly accompanied by a dwarf

We will be proceeding east from the mountain entrance and going no more than one hour out at this time.

If you do encounter this woman, do not engage. Keep your distance, report your location, and return.

There is no certainty that this woman, Jadis, is in fact present. There are many other possible explanations for the animals and people turned to stone and ice, but she is likely the most dangerous of them. As such, I expect everyone to proceed with all caution until we have gathered more information about the situation.

Logan, you go solo. Isaac and Rose, stick together; likewise Bruce and Sarah. Susan, you're with me.
