I miss you. Hawke's sister arrived from a pod, and it hurts more than I want to admit. His family keeps growing and mine keeps falling apart. First it was Wash, Zoe, Inara, Kaylee. Then you. Then Beverly, and Tony. My friends, my colleagues, my sister. ~~The girl I~~

I keep my head down. I focus on work. I used to work overtime to avoid the stress of ~~dealing with~~ taking care of you when everyone just insisted you didn't need it. I have no idea if I ever did anything right with you. Now I work overtime to keep from going back to my empty room.

It's not empty anymore. They must have given up on you coming back. They gave your bed to someone else.
