The 100; a panfandom game

I'm heading up the eastern settlement committee. Maya and I already did our initial run through of the area to get a better lay of the land and try to map out where exactly we wanna try setting it up at. I know military is already being divided up for where to go initially once the ground breaking happens and I'm sure all the rest of the job areas are gonna be sorted out too but I reckon that putting out some feelers can't hurt.

I'm looking to see who wants to specifically help out with this one though. I figure we'll all help out with all of them as best we can, but you tend to put in the extra effort and finesse when you're building a place that you're gonna end up calling home. Also figure those that plan on calling it home should get a some say in what the end product is gonna be.

Has anyone seen David Collins lately?

Today the Council was called into session to discuss establishing settlements in four of our most trafficked areas on Skaikru land. Not only trafficked the most by us but by the Grounders in nearby areas. Mount Weather, or The Mountain, as they call it has been host to horrors for their people and they are, understandably, superstitious about it. If we're to begin trading with them, we should bring ourselves closer to them.

And let's face it, being packed in here like sardines isn't doing anything to alleviate tensions.

Effective immediately, we're starting with the two most important points along our borders that we'll need: the river and the North pass. The North pass will need more military hands, due to the increasing threat from Azgeda, the Ice Nation. The river community will have to contend with sand and sinking which will pose its own challenges.

Each settlement will have at least the following:

• a military stronghold of some sort. These will likely not be massive buildings such a large fort, but will have those higher points for look-outs, weapons caches, and a small barracks for round the clock military accessibility. We had facilities at home called Fire Departments that ran in a similar way, only they were devoted to putting out fires in their particular area.
  
• A medical facility. This will not be a medical war the way Mount Weather has, and getting the equipment that we have in medical will prove difficult, but we want at least one doctor at each settlement and a clinic of sorts.
  
• A trading post. A building in which Grounders and Skaikru alike can trade between settlements for the things they need.
  
• A small law enforcement area including two cells in case they're needed.

Two committees for the sites are being formed as we speak, and any and all input into those sites will be carefully discussed to make sure that we have all the planning created before we begin heading out.

ASALA ADAAR & ROGUE (616):

Adaar, it's the obvious choice to offer you the lead on the military establishment to the north. It is rougher area than the other sites, and there are many potential pitfalls with Azgeda around. I know that you've recently stepped down as chancellor, so when your name was tossed around, I wasn't sure if you'd be interested.

Rogue, you're a natural leader among your people, and with the abilities at your disposal, I believe that you could form a team that would be up for the challenges that riverside might bring about. Is that something you'd be up for?

Is anyone else really, really confused by the suddenly vocal wave of antipathy for the Grounders? Did I miss a memo? Did someone draw penises on Councilor Wolverine's face while he was sleeping? Did one of them bring a bag of salad to a Superbowl party? Not to mention that "the Grounders" is a really broad term for numerous and diverse tribes with their own sets of rules, alliances, and cultures.

I'm good with hating people - it's my fav! - but generally I like to be in the know on the why.

Also, to continue the tone of this combative entry, The Princess Bride is mediocre at best and you guys can come at me.

Sooo, I think we can all agree that communications is less than optimal in a world like this. People are at Polis right now and we can't talk to them given how far away they are. Walkie-talkies which are so old are incredibly limited and I can't even get them to sync up with our omni-tools.

I have hundreds of blueprints and I can turn anything into a communication device with scrap metal, tape and wiring, so I'd like to see if we can do a few salvaging runs and work on building communication towers? We have a lot of people who can fly and teleport to do drop-off installs, and setting up wireless beacons with a transponder could be possible?

Anyone else familiar with communications enough to help me? With enough brains and tequila, we can do anything!

I’m sure y’all were happy to not have me trying to get us doing things together for awhile there. But I’m back. Instead of some kind of traditional team building sport or dinner/breakfast since enough of us are doing that daily anyway, I was wondering who wants to get away from the Mountain for a day? Maybe Saturday?

And I’m not suggesting we just head outdoors around here, but get our favorite teleporter to whisk us away somewhere else. Maybe a beach? Rain forest? We could see what Australia is like. Though I’m kinda wondering what the radiation will have done to the animals down there.

Hello, everyone. Given what a lot of people experienced with Storybrooke, and what some have gone through back home as well, I wanted to see if there might be any interest in me facilitating a support group for coping with brainwashing, conditioning, and/or possession?

Why a support group? The group setting is a different dynamic from 1-on-1 individual therapy. You're with other people facing similar struggles. Peers share their experiences and support each other. The facilitator is there to keep things moving and give it structure, but the focus is on the group.

Why me? I helped start the Mental Health program here, and I also have a lot of firsthand experience with being brainwashed, conditioned, and possessed at various times of my life aside from Storybrooke. Obviously that's not a good thing to have happened so much, but it's at least taught me a lot about coping with it.

Let me know if you're interested or have any questions. If you'd like to talk about any of these issues but want to do it in an individual setting, I'm available and so are the other Mental Health staff.

Alright folks, following up on Blake's post, if you were bothering to pay attention. We've got a situation.

Scouts reported back, they ain't Grounders and they ain't our people. It's a camp of goblins, from the Dwarf's world - Middle Earth. I'd say this is the weirdest shit I've explained, but I'd be lying.

They ain't attacking yet, obviously, but they're prepping. Pretty sure they're not coming here above ground, neither. So we've got shit to do, and we've gotta get it done as fast as we can. Consider this all-hands-on-deck until we give the word otherwise. We're low on numbers and our military's smaller than ever, it's gonna be one hell of a fight, but we've gotta work it smart and be on the defense. Ain't my favorite play, but it'll give us a better chance.

Anybody with infrastructure, engineering, building knowledge or just able to lift heavy shit, you're working with Erik and Kili. They've got plans for where the Goblins are gonna tunnel, and we're going to barricade, fortify and prepare the best we can to tunnel these bitches.

Gonna need a group to relocate anybody in Housing 506, 604 and 605. If you live in these, get your shit to 504 and fill in the blanks for now. Don't care if you're cozy in 504 and you don't wanna share your newfound empty apartments, make room. Store your important stuff in the upper warehouses for now, CS has boxes and shit. After you do that, need some hands in medical to follow Hawke around and do whatever he says to prep.

Also need volunteers to clear out the library - Drake already offered to lead that up, report to him ASAP. Military - Soldiers, Scouts, FWF - if you fight, you should know where you stand - report to Rutherford and Pentaghast, they're drafting up defense strat and prepping combatants.

Civs, we're securing safe zones now. You don't fit in any of the above categories, I'll give you a job. Everybody better be working and getting shit done.

David Collins is a victim of systematic brainwashing of a militaristic nature. I have removed the memory locked to his trigger. Before, if anyone suspected he wasn't what he claimed to be, he would react with swift violence, eliminating the threat. That shouldn't happen anymore, but I'd like to check in on him again tomorrow before his release is even a consideration. Let me know if there's anything else you need from me.

We need to talk about one of our new arrivals and the horribly impressive brainwashing I suspect he's under.

So. I’m not at the bottom of the ocean anymore. I’m fleshy again. Two hands, sort of. There is an Ark here. Not alone.

Of course, I don’t know any of you, the Ark is apparently destroyed, this is apparently another apocalypse, and this skin isn't actually mine.

I know none of you want to deal with this, but we have to. It's been days since the mass disappearance, and we need to start putting things in storage or redistributing them. These are the things that need to happen:

Clothes need to be given to laundry services so they can be cleaned and returned to the clothing makers. (Laundry and clothing also needs volunteers to help with the workload.)

Weapons, especially guns, need to be given to the military so they can be redistributed among the soldiers and the guard. Non-military people who know their way around weaponry could be useful helping them check everything over and store them properly for now.

Personal items need to be cared for, either by finding a home with someone the missing person was close to, returned to friends or family from their own reality, or put into storage to clear space in their room. If your housemate disappeared and you have items of theirs that might mean something to someone from their own world, but you don't know who those people are or if they're still around, post here to find them.

In some cases, almost everyone from a group or apartment has disappeared. Volunteers for anything in this (laundry, clothing, weapons, or going through rooms and apartments that would be neglected otherwise) are appreciated. Cleaning out empty apartments is usually difficult enough when it's just one or two.
