If the two of you don't mind, would you be able to cover my shifts for the next couple of days? My brother has arrived and I'd like to spend time with him.

I'm heading up the eastern settlement committee. Maya and I already did our initial run through of the area to get a better lay of the land and try to map out where exactly we wanna try setting it up at. I know military is already being divided up for where to go initially once the ground breaking happens and I'm sure all the rest of the job areas are gonna be sorted out too but I reckon that putting out some feelers can't hurt.

I'm looking to see who wants to specifically help out with this one though. I figure we'll all help out with all of them as best we can, but you tend to put in the extra effort and finesse when you're building a place that you're gonna end up calling home. Also figure those that plan on calling it home should get a some say in what the end product is gonna be.

Hi. My name is Emma Swan, which is probably not a name you're really eager to see so soon under this kind of filter.

However, Bonnie Bennett and Willow Rosenberg have started a magical resource and support group so that we can assist one another, understand each other's magic, and be of help to the community at large. They're both very talented witches in their worlds and they're both eager to helping as much as they can. My involvement is strictly support, as I still have the enchanted cuff that prevents me from doing any magic, if you were, understandably, worried about that.

So I'll start. I'm Emma Swan. I'm not really sure how old I am anymore because of too many curses and time jumps and world jumps. I was in my early 30s last time I checked. Until recently, I was also called the Dark One, which is an entity in my world that possesses and poisons a person until they are consumed. It's because of my son, Henry, that I'm no longer possessed. If you have any other questions, I'm willing to answer them.

I have sketched out some ideas for bringing two things back online here in Futureworld - Internet and GPS. It looks like we got the go ahead for the next phase of Cisco's Master Plan (with Help From Peter Parker and Friends (CMPHFPPF for short)).

Resources have been stockpiled, I know what I need. But you're wondering "WHERE DO I COME IN?"

Well, dear reader. If you can fly into space, I need your help. I need SPACE DEBRIS. Specifically satellites that we can refurbish. If anyone has like super metal detecting skills, there may be some that've crashed after a decayed orbit. Otherwise, I'll defer ground-based materials to the comm tower idea. Most of what I need has to be rated for space, etc.

I have tried to be very patient and keep myself occupied, but I do not think my captain is returning. I understand there are others who have returned home. How do I petition to return home? I do not wish to remain here in this fragile human body, especially when Granby is not here.

Religion fascinates, tickles the mind, and drives people to unwitting names in the name of the unseen. I have, myself, never seen its forest for its dense trees. In my experience, it has been a gentle lullaby to soothe a fitful child or a pat on the head of a mutt for a job well done. You believed, now here is your treat: faith. It is a muddling trait of humanity, is it not? Mankind overall markets itself as supreme while still boasting countless millions that bow before some invisible eye in the sky, whether Pod God or smiling idol.

It is tempting to believe in some Pod God, I suppose. As I've read, pods arrive with gifts inside to varying degrees of use or nostalgia. I confess it is also tempting to want to be a part of that scene to be held at the 'sacred tree,' not as a participant, but rather as a bemused spectator.

I've found I believe in very little, a handful of people perhaps, nothing more. In the absence of them, I would not then find comfort in any sort of faith, only a sense of having been alienated by it.

Troubling how an entertaining slice of insanity can spark such lonely drivel.

I was sad when everyone was gone, and now I'm anxious that everyone's back. It's just a thrill a minute with you people, isn't it?

Would it be in bad taste for me to suggest that if you don't want the memories associated with your adventure, I can remove them? Or fog them up, if you prefer? It's an utterly personal decision to keep them or remove them, and I don't think there's any moral better one way or another, and I fully understand that if you're not keen on magic now that more in your head might not be in your interest, so please please please don't yell or get passive aggressive at me for suggesting it if it's not for you because my reaction to stress is either curling into a ball on the floor and thinking about baby animals or killing everything in sight so. Be nice. Think about it?

I just want everyone feeling comfortable again. I understand... dissonance. In several ways, really.

You know, back home, people don't travel much. Perhaps to the shore, if they're wealthy, but we never were, and besides, immigrants at the seaside? That aren't working on the boardwalk? Horrors. For the most part, you grow up with the expectation that you'll do either your father's or your mother's profession, and you won't leave the town that you were born in because what's the point? What are you looking for out there?

Well, I was looking for my sister. She'd run off a few nights before, and when we woke up to her empty room and missing traveling clothes we knew where she'd gone. There's only one place desperate people go to where I'm from, and that's Yharnam. Laila had been sick - dying, really, honestly, but none of us had voiced it. It was just Laila's malady, Laila's affliction, and then it was Laila's gone. I went after her, because I'm stupid and hopeful and thought that maybe Yharnam couldn't be all that bad, and it wasn't, actually, it was worse than bad.

I'd never been out of Aldergate before. Neither had Laila. I never found her, you know. I looked everywhere. And then all that mess happened - magic unto prophecy unto ancient rune unto hubris - and then I was here. Mount Weather! Brand new place, brave new world. Do you know how far I've traveled now? So much farther than my father or mother did, even with that ocean they crossed back in the yesteryear. So much distance to have so little to show for it.

I suppose what I'm rambling about - sorry, my point's buried under self-pity - is that for all the reasons that this place is so strange to me, so unknowable, so unlike home, it's nonetheless SO LIKE home. All these people coming in and out of our lives with nary a trail to amble on or a string of fate to pull, and what are we left with? A hope, and our feet itching to follow, if we care to. I always care to.

I miss them. I miss her. Is that too sentimental? Well, others were always better at the stiff upper lip.

Hello, everyone. I have accepted Second in Command of Civilian Services. Podkru numbers are critically short in almost all of our Civilian Services. We are down to: 1 Food Service, 2 Dishwashers, 2 Teachers, 2 Child Caretakers. The only ones that did not lose the majority of their workers were Laundry Services and Sanitation, and even then, that is only 3 people each. Food Service is the most critical of these as, of course, we all must eat.

I am therefore proposing that each of us work at least one meal shift per week, with exceptions only for those ill, injured, or responsible for the care of someone who cannot care for themselves. Though I cannot require this of you, I hope you can recognise the importance and will contribute. There are simple food preparations that almost anyone could assist with, and anyone who is absolutely uncomfortable with that can at least help in portioning out and serving the food. I have pulled the records for prior meal plans and schedules so they can be scaled down accordingly for the current population.

I'm aware that many of you enjoy regular alcohol, and I occasionally imbibe myself, but there are now vastly more people brewing alcohol than preparing food. I'd ask that the brewers, in particular, consider transferring your work focus to the much more urgent food needs and take more than a single day's meal shift.

I'd also ask that anyone who can speed the dishwashing process, please give your assistance in spelling the dishes or otherwise helping this along. There isn't enough space at the washing stations for everyone to wash their own at every meal, therefore we need to continue to do them in bulk.

Well, shit. Come on. How is it seriously bad luck to wish someone good luck? That's bloody stupid.

I mean, I am sorry if this place and its weirdness means that really was my fault, but help me out here, Poe. Alison is probably gonna murder me in my sleep.

With the batch of Podkru we lost a month ago, it's become clear that we've lost quite a few positions. Several of our jobs are dangerously low on staff. Unfortunately, they're all pretty important to make sure this place runs. If anyone has any kind of experience or would like to switch positions (or even take a few hours volunteering), you would be so helpful.

The positions we're desperately in need of are:

This is likely well beside the point, but while I've heard a lot of chatter recently about the White Witch's particular cruelty, or her mode of transport, or her aesthetic (very nice, very themed!), there's one aspect to her that's eluded me so far.

What does she want? Why target us? There's a whole sodding world out there, after all, that's likely less defended. What's she going to get out of it? Simple subjugation? Bragging rights? I've never been one to parse the motives of anything that I knew how to kill offhand, but as I'm well-mystified by this Witch, the question nonetheless stands.

Hit my head pretty hard on some overhanging tech this morning. Nothing wounded, just my pride. And it wouldn't have happened, if I hadn't been curious about investigating a hallway that had a flickering light (report: maintenance, there's a flickering light).

I didn't think anything of it until I came across some artwork our recently departed psychic had put together. There were a couple of me, having progressively worse luck as far I can tell. One of them was me hitting my head really hard and leaving a bruise (never had one before) in the same exact spot as this one. Soooo, I need to be locked up for the rest of the day because I'd rather avoid the rest of these.

Why am I making this a general announcement? Because I'm not the only one in these drawings, and there's probably more in her old quarters. Someone who isn't scheduled to get shot in the leg want to go check?

I'd like to thank everyone who's been so kind and welcoming to me the past week! You might've been standoffish, or vague, or perhaps even homicidal with a dash of paranoid, but no! Instead you've embraced me as one of your own. What unexpected warmth! Thank you, Mount Weather!

As an extremely small token of my gratitude, I've gone ahead and done all the dishes. All the dishes, yes, even the not-dirty ones. Fellow dishwashers, enjoy a well-deserved day off! All the dishes in Mount Weather have been restored to their former state of clean before the daily wear-and-tear (most were manufactured in 2011, but several were as early as 1951, can you believe it?), and I've gone ahead and whipped up a few of the sets that were broken and incomplete. Go ahead, make new dirty dishes! I'll take care of them. I could do this forever!
