Well...this is strange. Not sure if I believe all of it or if this is just some...dream.

Today is the Midgardian day of honoring one's mother, as I understand it. As such, let me tell you of mine.

Frigga, Queen of Asgard, could temper the strongest steel. No rage could withstand her calm presence. My Father would have launched our people into many an unnecessary war without her calm guidance at his side.

Would that I could have learned patience from her before she was taken from us. Would that I could have spent more time understanding the way she could bring hope to others at the darkest of times. I have tried, more than once, to live up to her legacy and, though I feel I often fall short, I feel that I have at least made her proud.

I could tell you that she believed in my brother when no one else would. I could tell you that she put her own life in jeopardy for someone she had just only met. I could tell you that she raised two rambunctious boys with a kind hand and a stern disposition. I could tell you that there could be no better queen of Asgard, past or future.

But I will tell you that I love her deeply, and think of her often. The happiest of this day of mothers to those of you with either born or adopted offspring. May Frigga's heart be with you.

In light of the... content released today, however briefly, I thought I should mention a couple things, so I'm going to put on my nurse hat for a second.

First, Dr. Chakrabarti and I hosted a seminar on sex education back in February, and we made a couple different recaps, one written and one video, for anyone who missed it the first time or for anyone who just wants to go over the information again. If you're not sure where to find that, let me know.

Second, if you don't understand something you saw and you have questions, I'm here. Or you can ask one of the other medical staff if you feel more comfortable with them. Just know that there's nothing wrong with not understanding. There's no shame in asking us. You have my word that I won't judge anything you want to ask me.

Second, I'm getting nervous. With all this talk of consequences and radiation.. I mean, we don't know if our powers will work like they should. Some do, some don't. I think I've been lucky so far, the healing, the seasons, Jack - it's all worked like it should mostly.

But what happens if the next time I try to heal someone, I kill them? Or if the next time I tell Jack to attack the enemies in battle, he ends up attacking us instead?

I don't know how the Greek & Roman stuff works, but I know that mine is Aesir magic, which is different than Sam's abilities. But then with some of the stuff, I don't know how to not-use them. I mean, I can't not be an einherjar.

You and your crew up to anything tonight? It's been one of those days and I could use a drink and maybe even shooting some pool. Unless you guys are off rescuing kittens from trees today.

I missed out on the bake sale yesterday. Work held me up, so I guess it's more storebought for me. Please read this as a subtle request for anyone to offer up anything they picked up and are willing to share. Picture me sitting alone in a kitchen with a ham sandwich, longing for some apple turnover or cherry pie.

I've done a quick and dirty map program that runs on the tablets to keep track of where everyone is, since we only have a very few telepaths. Eight different coloured markers that can be dragged around to represent different types of unit, black borders are the enemy, white borders are ours. Shapes to represent numbers (circle - triangle - square - star - increasing numbers of sides, someone who can actually see what's out there can figure out roughly how many each should mean). You can double tap on a marker to put a flag on it with extra information if necessary. They should all sync to each other when information changes but there might be a bit of a lag, maybe thirty seconds? And anyone ranked at least Major General has an extra button up the top that will let them block people from making changes if that becomes necessary for any reason.

Let me know if there are any bugs or it needs extra features or even if it isn't suited at all.

I too received a gift from this Pod God. Some foodstuffs from home but most importantly a large bottle of Thikkiian brandy. It's more than I can drink myself so I would be happy to share if the owners of the tavern would allow me to bring it there.

One warning. It is very strong, humans usually can't tolerate more than one drink before they pass out. However I believe there are a few people besides myself that would enjoy it. Thor Son of Odin, Sir Iron Bull, the two of you in particular I think would like it.

If the tavern has no objection, I will be there after the movies are done.
