The more I am here in Mount Weather, the less I know myself, but the more I like myself. It's really quite odd, and wonderful, too. Cullen and I will be living together, very soon. It's further away from our friends, but it's together. And without the blessing of the Church or the Chantry.

I'd like to say sorry to the doctors I almost ate. And to the guy with the beard. And to the person who tried to tell me about my bunk assignment. I'm sorry I almost ate you. It's not personal. And if you're not annoying, it probably won't happen again.

I'm Malia. This whole dimensional travel thing is crap and I miss my boyfriend, and I think I'm probably just hallucinating again or I went crazy, but thanks for not killing me on sight. I don't understand what's happening and I don't like it but the lack of pending death is kind of refreshing.

When I was a little girl out in the country, my brother got himself a case of poison ivy all over his shins during one of our many cricket matches. We put cucumbers on the rash to soothe the burn.

Unless medical has a poison ivy wonder drug, cucumbers would work. If there are cucumbers here, that is.

I think I'm dying.

I've already said this, but like Councillor Adaar said, I think it's worth repeating. I'm humbled to have been elected to the council, and very grateful for this opportunity. To those of you who have supported me in this decision, thank you - from the bottom of my heart, for believing in me. This wouldn't be possible without you, and I hope to make all of you proud. To everyone else, I know it can be discouraging to face a result you didn't want, but I hope you'll give me and Councillor Adaar a chance, and I hope to make you proud too. Your compassion for one another, your desire to do what you think is best for our community, and your dedication to what you do here inspires me every day. My door is open to all of you if you want to talk about what's happening here, if you have ideas or suggestions for us, or concerns, regardless of what choices you made in the election. At the end of the day, we're all in this together.

I know the message on the Memorial Wall, has people worried, and while I don't have any answers right now, I assure you we will get to the bottom of it. That said, if you saw anything out of the ordinary over the last few days, please come talk to one of us.

And since it seems like someone listened to me when I told Phil that I wished I had my art supplies here, thank you to our mysterious benefactor. It's a pretty good celebration gift.

You know, my first thought when I woke up in this hospital was that Tony'd gone to a hell of a lot of expense just to play a joke on me. Then I was told it's not a joke, and so I'm really wondering just how many people he's pulled into this thing. So, 'fess up. How much is Tony paying you? And where in the hell did he find this set up? Somewhere in Canada?

I'll be damned. It's all true. All those theories about other universes and time being a fourth dimension that could be manipulated.

They've gone home.

The door to my room has flown off its hinges without warning. I imagined we were under some sort of attack, but then nothing followed. After a brief inspection, the hallway looks a fright. What the bloody hell's happened?

Does this sort of thing occur frequently, in this place?

I'm not entirely convinced this isn't HYDRA, or Leviathan. I've been told by the doctors about the circumstances of my arrival, but I don't believe it, it's far too Orwellian. It's simply not possible.

Perhaps it's a dream. That's it. A horrible nightmare. I think I shall sit here until I awaken.
