Starting this week, the Mother's Group will be meeting weekly instead of monthly. We'll be meeting on Wednesday in the same room we've always used. If you're pregnant or have a child ages five and under, you're welcome to attend. Child care is provided so you can bring your kiddos.

I'm grateful that fans enjoy writing about us but honestly? If we did all they like to think we do on the Enterprise, we'd never get any work done. Especially you, Jim. You are a busy boy in the world of fan fiction.

It feels weird that I miss my kid. Okay, she's a lot smaller and she's babbling more than talking and I can't send her off to do homework while I get a glass of wine and some peace and quiet, but she's here.

I know I've been pulling some short nights of sleep trying to get stuff ready for the season, but I wonder if I'm seeing things. Certainly didn't expect to see an old brig with sails come into the harbor while I was repairing traps. Seems a bit early for either the tall ship festival or the tourist sailing cruises.

Assuming I did something kind of stupid, but not too stupid, should I just go back to bed or do I need to present myself in person to medical for killing/lectures/inspection.

I know that our meeting is scheduled for Tuesday night but I'm afraid I won't be there. As you probably know I've been in Medical the last several days helping care for Jim Kirk and I'll be here until I'm sure he's out of the woods.

The room is already reserved so if anyone wants to go ahead with it and have the meeting, that would be great. Since it's informal anyway it doesn't matter who puts it together. I didn't have anything in particular planned so feel free to do whatever.

Just let me know if you're going ahead, I hope you do because I think it's a good way for us to get to know each other. Also, if you know of any expectant mothers, they're welcome to come too.

Alistair and I have some extremely surprising and extremely happy news. Ordinarily I'd want to tell everyone in person, but you know what a gossip mill this place is, and I don't want any of you finding out somewhere other than from us.

Alistair and I are going to have a baby. Late this summer, Christine thinks. As any of you who have any experience with Wardens know, the odds of this happening are very slim, so we're feeling like we just won a hundred sovereigns on a bluff.

And apparently drinking alcohol is not good for pregnant women, so I am now taking bids on my alcohol rations.

Being here instead of at home for holidays hasn't really gotten to me yet, although it was l which probably has a lot to do with always working on holidays and having to celebrate at odd hours, like 8 am breakfast dates after overnight shifts where I'm half asleep and not paying attention, or bouquets of roses and weird gifts from former patients.

Anyway. Turns out what does bother me are things like missing the day-after sales on candy. I might start believing in this Pod God if he or she sent us something good. Just an idea, if anyone up there's reading what we're saying down here.

Yes, so I'll be joining the lovely people in Law Enforcement as an officer - it's truly ashame Chloe isn't hear to see it. And Haymitch, Sydney, and Willow - I'm your new roommate, I believe.

Hi everyone! For those that don't me, I'm Christine Chapel and I'm a nurse practitioner in Medical. I'm also the mother of an eighteen month old and I'm still trying to navigate my way through motherhood. I've noticed that there are several of us who have young children and I thought it would be a good idea to start a monthly Mother's group for those of us with kids five and younger although anyone is welcome to show up. Child care will be open for the younger kids while we're meeting.

I know I have questions and I'd love to talk to someone who's been there. I'm sure some of you have questions too and hopefully someone can answer them. As a nurse I can also answer any medical questions you might have and if I can't, I will find someone who can.

We're going to meet on the fifteenth of every month in Room 203B at five o'clock. It seemed like the best time since most of us are off work by then and we can get the kiddos home and in bed before too late. It's informal, just a way of getting together and getting to know each other.

On a different note, I think there are a fair amount of us who used to fly or pilot before we came through here. Would anyone be interested in getting together, comparing specs of what we flew and the tech involved and seeing if there's any possibilities for that sort of thing here?

Now that I'm a bit more settled in I thought I'd ask for a bit of help. Dr. Foster and I are attempting to put together a database of all of the universes represented here as well as any supernatural or magical elements that might go along with them. We'd also like to gather as much information about universes that may have once been represented here, but are no longer. I've come up with a survey for individuals to fill out and we will also be canvasing as well.

The hope is that with a better understanding of the magics and supernatural elements found in each universe we may be able to help individuals here. The possibilities across universes is really quite fascinating and there can be some good we can do for our fellow man perhaps.
