Thank Merlin I'm not stuck tap dancing everywhere anymore. It's entertaining for a bit, but then it gets rather tiresome!

I realize my timing with this isn't ideal, but I do have updated quidditch teams for those of you who play and we have a handful of holes to fill for anyone who's interested in giving it a go. You do NOT need to be magical to play, we've got some safety protocols in place to avoid very serious injury and there are plenty of us experienced players willing to teach anyone and everyone!

Those of you who've lost co-captains again, I'll let you choose your seconds as well as your practice schedules, but I'm hoping we can fill our teams and play some matches soon!

I'm used to magic behaving unpredictably, but this might just take the cake.

Have you lost anything recently? Consider that a too clever for his own good, bored large orange cat with lock picking skills might have made off with it sometime in the last two weeks and I've just found his latest cache!

• What appears to be four small chunks of solidified lava
• Five rolls of washi tape
• Floor tiles
• A single rook from a chess set that has also been lightly chewed on by a small to medium sized dog (probably, it doesn't look like it was a human or a cat)
• Someone's tiny pet tarantula, still in its travel habitat
• A bottle of hot sauce
• Silver mens' house slippers, size 44
• Resin and porcelain 8" figurine of the Tin Man from the Wizard of Oz
• Toilet paper rolls
• Sixteen individual Lego bricks
• Strawberry lemonade lip balm, unopened
• Foam darts
• Pastel hair ties
• What appears to be very fancy hot chocolate mix
• A little notebook labeled "Passwords" (which I hope does not contain passwords)

Certainly was quite the party, though it appears the clientele here don't care much for their belongings and the staff are all too willing to let things slide.

All that to say, I've a tailored jacket with an engagement ring in the pocket, a set of car keys, an interesting envelope, a letter, and a business card with a note scrawled on the back with me for safe keeping, and I would be happy to arrange them finding their way back into the right hands for a favour.

If I hadn't been doing this on a cruise I wouldn't be doing it at all, so I guess this part was a good idea

Crowdsourcing my biggest wedding planning challenge to date: tell me your favorite mocktails with interesting names. Whether or not you include the recipe.

Or, to make it a game, name a mocktail that doesn't exist and others can make up the recipe. Those others probably wouldn't be me, though, but that doesn't mean I will not be utterly pleased at seeing the results. They may or may not then be featured at my wedding.

Quick question:

Does anyone here have any actual experience being an effective matchmaker, whether or not this was as a professional?

All right, I have to confess to you all that that was sort of fun.

I've never been a sport sort of person, and the only time I was required to participate in a field day before it was school at age ten and it was one of the worst days of my life—but when you add aliens, apparently it's much more bearable?

I've got a VERY serious question.

What is everyone's favorite pasta shape? Penne? Linguine? Cannelloni? Bucatini? You name it. What's your favorite? It's critical I know.

A warm thanks to everyone who did not assault me with white-cake-with-rainbow-sprinkles themed items yesterday.

(Notably this does not include my wardrobe.)

Any pilots up for a race? I'm bored.

Someone with more experience in holodecks than me -- what are the chances that it would work if you used one to simulate weather for magic-related purposes.

Like is the moon an actual moon. Or lightning actual lightning.
