So, after everything that's happened and given the sheer quantities of snow we have around here, I propose:

A SNOWSCULPTURE CONTEST

Tomorrow [Sunday, Jan 3] seems as good a day as any. Everyone's welcome to participate and I was thinking of a space theme, mostly because I want to see everyone build a snow model of their spacecraft/ship if they have one. But, this isn't a hard and fast theme. Just guidelines. Basically, an invitation for everyone to come out and have fun. If I can swing it, there may even be prizes.

So, who's in?

3. You two are helping me build a kick ass Enterprise for this contest tomorrow.

Lesson learned: space enlarging half a room leads to weird vertigo inducing effects. Um, sorry. I'll fix that when I'm done with the decor. I wonder if I can figure out another way to make my magic food tree. From what I've seen so far I could definitely use it. Pretty sure I used up some vital components for it though.

What's the library like? Does it have a decent magic section? Or... any magic section?

I can't believe I

I know we're all recovering from what happened and Christmas is right around the corner — I don't want to pile too hard on anyone's plate, but I wanted to make everyone aware of where I've been.

I flew out to the Raven Rock Mountain Complex in Pennsylvania, another nuclear bunker like this one. In the war, it housed important Pentagon employees, but as far as I can tell they didn't survive like the community at Mount Weather. Still trying to figure out exactly what happened. They might have run out of food. I didn't get too involved in searching for answers yet. There's no evidence of slaughter, at least, but I will say this: the place isn't ... abandoned. It's Creepsville. Seriously.

So: I need to put together a small team to head out there after the new year to pick through what they have and bring back any usable supplies. It's mostly salvage and scrap metal at this point, but we can always use that.

Volunteer if you:

• Have flight or teleportation ability over long distances.


• Have some military and/or survival training.


• Are over age 18.

If we have a teleporter capable of taking other people alone we might consider people who can't fly, but because of weather, supplies, and the situation with the Grounders, we can't risk any kind of long-distance travel on foot.

All volunteers need to be approved by myself and the Council. We're not risking lives by taking someone out who's unprepared or lies about being qualified.

Greetings! Seasonally! Salutations festively! No, no. That's ridiculous. I can't seem to get this introduction right. Hi everybody! So the fact that this kidnapping doesn't involve any torture so far is pretty nice but the location sure could be better. Like the beach.

I've been here almost two weeks. It's gone by really quickly so far. Maybe it'll be April before we know it. Or maybe that's wishful thinking.

How many of us here are... gifted, in some way? Enhanced? Special abilities or powers? I was told there's a large number, but I haven't been very good at branching out so far.
