The 100; a panfandom game

I like this idea, especially since I have to run through the "yes, I'm an alien" conversation at least once a month. Which I don't mind! But sometimes it's nice to give people the chance to ask without feeling uncomfortable.

I'm Admiral Tali'Zorah vas Normandy nar Rayya (formerly vas Neema) of the Quarian migrant fleet. Normally I wear a suit, and I still wear it outdoors here, if you've seen anyone in a purple mask that's me. But the same thing that brought us here improved my immune system enough so that I can survive without it, with only minimal allergies. Here, I work in Tech, but back home I was an machinist, hacker and engineer on the SSV Normandy and on Commander Shepard's squad.

Feel free to ask me questions! I'll answer anything and I like talking about ships and mechanics. ... I also tend to ramble if you get me going on about engines. But I do very good impressions of the Normandy engines.

I'm sorry. Hello. I'm Warden Bethany Hawke, and I was told my brother is here, along with some others I might know, but the brother part seemed impertinent, as he sent me off past Orlais and hasn't answered any of my letters. Aveline wouldn't even let me get a pretty dress.

GARRETT HAWKE:

WHO: Commander Shepard and Kaidan Alenko
WHEN: After Fight Club
WHERE: Their room!
WHAT: In a quiet moment, Shepard finally confronts Kaidan about what he said during the truth plot, because he'd expected Kaidan to come to him first. Kaidan's migraines are becoming more than just migraines, thanks to his faulty L2 biotic implants, and Shepard learns that Hawke's been doing some fucked-up stuff to keep Kaidan out of pain.
WARNINGS: (Bull and Dorian aren't the only ones who had sex after fight club, just sayin'.)

Fight Club might have just been the best fun I've ever had while I was losing. I can't even be mad that I didn't make it past the first round. Logan, I owe you drinks until my bruises heal.

I was thinking we could all use a little community-building exercise. DON'T GROAN. This will be fun. Maybe we're not all up to trust falls, but here's an easy one: where are you guys from? Because I know some of you come from some real zany places, and y'know what? Maybe there's someone else around here who used to live up the street and you never knew it.

I'm from Forest Hills, Queens. A bunch of you probably know where that is, but it's (it was?) part of a place called New York City, which iiiiis... pretty far away from here if you're walking. It has to be about 250 miles north of here? Let's roll with that. We have a baseball team that never wins, some airports, and we're all fluent in the language of Mass Transit. Mostly because you can't leave Queens without taking 2 buses and a subway ride to get wherever you want, and you get really good at figuring out what they're saying on the broken loudspeakers in the stations.

KAIDAN, TALI, MORDIN:

I'm not hungover. I'm just hiding in bed because...

I'm fucking hungover.

For many years, I thought it unlikely that I would ever marry. Templars seldom do, and I had troubles of my own, and it seemed unlikely my life would ever take such a turn.

I am very glad today that I turned out to be wrong. I would have been glad to have more of our friends and family present, but I am immensely grateful for those who were here with us today (especially Asala, who was so kind as to officiate), and if not for the circumstances that forbid the attendance of the others, I would never have met my wife at all.

My wife. It has a very nice sound to it.

Thank you to all of you who celebrate with us today. I cannot think of a better way to begin a new year here on Earth.

I always thought I was just lucky that my L2 implants only cause migraines, when so many other L2 biotics suffer so much worse — but I think I spoke too soon. My migraines are getting worse, and pain is spreading, mostly through my shoulders and down my arms. I keep forgetting things, little things, and every time I have a lapse in memory or get confused or zone out I start to think that the L2s are catching up with me.

I haven't told Shepard. I didn't want to complain; he has enough of his own shit to deal with.

Mordin, throw me a message when you have some free time and nobody's actively dying. She cut through some of my meshes and I'm glowing. I stopped the bleeding, so I'll be fine until you get to me, but I won't be pretty when you do.

Since the firearms competition got some good results, it's about time we did it again. Instead of regular hand to hand class on Tuesday, we're going to have a friendly contest to see which of you has picked up the most in the last three months. No bleeding and no actual murder attempts, all right? Winner gets a sense of satisfaction.

I know we have some new people and some of our students and teachers have disappeared recently, so let me say hello, I'm Commander Shepard. I've organized beginner's training classes that meet on weekdays. Anyone is welcome to sign up, and there are some open spaces for teachers if any of you are experts and want something extra to do with your time.

WHAT: Kaidan's headaches caused by his L2 implants are worsening, and he fears that his luck's run out and the common side effects of being an L2 biotic (crippling pain, insanity) are around the corner. He seeks out Hawke for pain relief, as usual, but Hawke's magic is tapped. Hawke can't bear to see Kaidan in that much pain, however, and considers an alternative method.

Living in a world like this isn't too strange for me. Being able to eat the food is, but my people have always lived in space, in what we call a Flotilla. We only just now re-established on our homeworld and things have been ... well. Bleak, in the galaxy. But this just reminds me a lot of home.

I have a million ideas for improvements and projects, I don't know what to start on first. Omni-tools? Drones? Weapon modifications? Improved generators? Vehicle engines?

I don't suppose there's any eezo around here...

MISSING PERSONS:

We've got an unusually large list of disappearances this week, so we're going to need to pull you from regular duty for a few hours to see if we can't find them, talk to their loved ones, figured out where anyone saw them last.

I've got confirmation from Braddock that Charles Xavier is gone, so we can scratch him from the list of those to look for. Anne Blythe, Eddie Carmichael, Thorin Oakenshield. All within a short amount of time.
