On
Monday afternoon, Moira hurries into
Wonderlust, looking shaken. She demands a copy of
Leaves of Grass by Robert Frost. She does not seem to have noticed that the store is in
utter disarray--she needs that book, you see, and she needs it immediately.
When she fails to receive what she is after, she appears to be quite upset. She stamps her foot and insists--inSISTS--that she needs it, and she
needs it today. In her huff she knocks over a plastic tub of books that had yet to be ruined, effectively dumping them into a puddle. She doesn’t seem to care nor does she apologize.
Having failed to find what she was after, she storms out. On the way, she runs into
BLAZE WOLFE--as in literally walks into them. She takes their hand in both of theirs and asks VERY SERIOUSLY where another bookstore might be, or where she might find a copy of the book in question. Without seeming to hear the answer, she turns her attention to her
ringing cell phone, answering it mid-conversation and drifting away, plucking distractedly at a
gaudy pearl necklace she started wearing this week.
