So space is cool, and traveling to different places is pretty awesome. Being here is a really fun adventure! But sometimes I miss home, you know? Bodegas, bodega cats, the subway, the pizza, the bagels, Delmar’s, the renovated Statue of Liberty, (although maybe not exactly the street entertainment, the people. Sometimes the ridiculous stuff like giving a tourist directions or overhearing phone conversations from those people who always use speaker phone. Don’t miss being a crim Hanging out with friends even if Ned and MJ were here, but MJ didn’t know me, and Ned and watching movies or getting coffee or building with Lego (which, fun fact, the plural of Lego is Lego!). That’s what I’m doing today. Building with Lego. No one else is in this house right now, so it seems like a good time to spend the day building the ultimate Lego fort. A good thing about this place is these replicators make it a lot easier to get a whole bunch of Lego! Including technic and power functions. Not sure what I’m going to do with them just yet, but I’m excited to see what happens!

That mission was cool. I was able to use my shine to 'talk' down a kidnapper. I could have done more, made him a cluck like a chicken or dance. I showed restraint. And then I'd like to think I made everyone want to dance when I returned and started up a band.
That was days ago though. What's cool today?

I'm not sure why it happened, but the bouquet of flowers on my desk this morning certainly livened up my work space. Little disturbed that they're As long as no one's bothered by them, I think I'll keep them there for a few days.

Unrelated, would anyone like to go check out that cocktail making class tomorrow? I've not been, but it seems like it could be a lot of fun, especially with a group.

Hi, Poseidon people!

I'm Courtney and I've been here since Saturday but I had to take a couple of days to adjust to the whole being in space thing. Thank you to Mara and Cassian for putting up with all my questions and letting me hang out with their family for the past few days.

I look forward to meeting everyone here, going to lessons at space school and learning the ropes in Morale.

Okay...okay there might be a possibility that I'm still high on Lyorge root because where even am I? This place is amazing and huge and I'm going to need a rundown of what is going on here.

Important question: Does this place do any little things for birthdays? At home, Starbucks offers you a drink, and other places will do free treats. (And then there are the restaurants that will bring out a dessert and sing to you while the entire restaurant stares, which has its pros and cons. Humongous con if it's a place the demands a performance of some type from the birthday person. Also a con if they force you into a ridiculous hat. I didn't spend an hour on my hair to mess it up with a pointed paper hat, thank you.)

If there's nothing, that's fine. I can make due with a cupcake from the bakery.

Unless they're all gone for the day. Then I'll just make my own celebration.

Filter: Morale

A friend's birthday has just reminded me that many may have been forgotten due to us all being someone else. Right now morale amongst the crew seems a bit low, at least to me. Though I reckon that you see it as well. I don't want to overstep but this idea will not let me rest. So, what if a surprise party was thrown for all of the birthdays that came and went while we were on the Weststar? I am sure that there are a few this month as well to make it a grand affair. It's just an idea but morale always seems to go up after a celebration.

Happy Pi-Day! Now, I am on the hunt for some good Strawberry Rhubarb and ice cream.
