The 100; a panfandom game

I was content to merely be an observer in this afterlife and witness the flurry of interactions, the good spirits, the new connections being forged and reaffirmed. O brave new world, that has such people in it. Life, even in the wake of catastrophe, carries on, business as usual. There is a small comfort in knowing that.

I didn't think I would be participating in these network posts, but I must confess I've been having difficulty sleeping of late. I've been told the vivid community on this network is vital to acclimatising to a new environment, so here we are.

Well, the guy who was doing the movie nights disappeared, and that's sad. I think he had the next few weeks of movies already done, so I guess that someone's going to have to take it over. I'm volunteering myself, and I'd like to know what kind of movies you all want to start doing. So you guys have specific ones you want to watch, let me know and I'll make sure make sure we watch it as soon as we can.

I did something really stupid, Sam.

You know what I miss? Cigars. I never smoked them but once in awhile, but they were good for celebrating a job well done. I also miss sitting poolside with a good mojito. When it's not snowing, this is the weather for doing that, especially in Miami.

But I guess that I'll settle for a bit of the stuff they call beer here, and It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World, tonight.

Hey, so we do the movie nights now. What about bringing old tv shows up to watch every so often? Maybe some Gilligan's Island, or MASH, or any one of the Law and Orders would be GREAT. Sometimes a guy just wants half an hour of entertainment before he goes on to the next thing.

Sounds like Mike and I missed all the fun yesterday, with the hallucinations. I guess it's a good thing we headed out before breakfast and had to rely on jerkey and crackers to fill our bellies. So, everyone feeling okay today? No unicorns or faces behind masks?

I have to say, I really miss Miami right now.

I took a peek into the room where all the goodies are kept, and I came across a couple of boxes of board games. Anyone want to join me tonight? I definitely saw Hungry Hungry Hippos and Yahtzee, and we all know those are good for a good time.

I guess it's my turn to come clean. I'd like to be honest here -- and I can't do that as Chuck Finley.

My name is Michael Westen. I used to be a spy. I won't bore you with the whole story, but I was targeted by some bad people. They destroyed my life for a while, and once I built it back up, I nearly destroyed it myself. The only way I could finally get out was to fake my death. That was a year ago; I've been living under a false identity ever since.

Aside from a few key details, most of what I've told you about myself has been true. I do have a wife, Fiona, although our marriage papers are fake. Charlie's ours now, but he used to be my nephew. We adopted him after my brother died, so Nate deserves all the credit for that kid. Anything else I can clear up, I'm happy to.

I thought I'd spend the rest of my life undercover. A spy's work is never truly done until he's dead -- or at least until the world thinks he's dead. But I'm not in that world anymore. My kid could grow up here knowing the real me, I don't want to waste that opportunity. I hope you all can forgive me for not coming to my senses sooner.

It's not a good sign when they start limiting your carbs at mealtimes, and not for health reasons. But there are a lot of people here, eating up a lot of food. Is there anything the rest of us can do to help?

You might have guessed that I'm not really Chuck Finley. Mike's told me you know about his cover, so I don't see any reason for me to keep mine around you. The name's Sam Axe, and I worked with Mike for several years.

This is something I never saw coming. One minute I was sitting next to the pool, being served a fruity drink with an umbrella by a cute waitress, and the next I'm in Nowheresville, surrounded by a mountain and probably some crazy people. So hi. I'm Charles Finley, but you can call me Chuck. I was told that it'd be a good idea to introduce myself with this little tablet here, but let me tell ya, it's a little lacking in the games department.
