The 100; a panfandom game

You guys! My best friend Leslie Knope is here! The Pod God really does answer prayers. Some of them, anyway. And only once you've been saying them for nearly half a year. But I'll take it!

Anyway, you should all go say hello to her! She's the most amazing person -- truly, you'll never make a more loyal friend or a more fierce advocate than Leslie Knope. We're so lucky to have her. Now to work on my other best friend (and Leslie's fiance), Ben Wyatt! I've made some real progress on my jobi nut flour-based calzone recipe in his honor.

Oh, but don't worry, new best friends I've made here. There's enough room in my heart for each and every one of you. How are you all doing this weekend? Who's going to try speed dating tonight? I hope I'll see some of you there!

Apparently, I'm supposed to introduce myself. Which, always feels awkward, doesn't it? New place, new people. I mean, what are you supposed to say. Other than, "Hi, I'm Paige. I'll be one of your new teachers. Even though I had kind of given up that gig recently."

I'm sorry, I should have done this sooner. Before I met my first Dementor, for example. [...] I guess I've finally found someone I can't be friends with.

My therapist is gone. Has been gone for a while now, actually and I think I'm. How do I go about finding a new one? I don't mean to be picky, but I would need someone who can put up a psychic wall between my emotions and theirs. Or else someone who's willing to communicate in sign language.

It seems the Pod God has looked upon me favorably. I believe that is at least one interpretation for how my chess set appeared on this planet. My other working theory involves Romulans, black holes, and the space-time continuum. I don't know that either is truly workable.

Logic aside, should anyone be willing and able to master the three-dimensional aspect, I require an opponent.

I'm going to miss the pumpkins.

I liked Halloween. It's interesting to think of how all these odd traditions grew out of a celebration of the harvest and then become odd vestiges across cultures.

I do not understand the appeal of haunted houses.

Mount Weather, I believe I still owe many of you an apology.

During my last radio broadcast a few Sundays ago, you may have noticed I got a bit more emotional than usual during our panel discussion. And then you may have noticed that you became more emotional, too. I didn't know it at the time, but when my emotions grow strong enough, it turns out they're literally contagious. Since then I've taken countermeasures, such as wearing gloves and refraining from speech when possible. I'm also in therapy four times a week. But none of that negates the stress and suffering I've inadvertently caused, and I am so, so sorry.

Obviously, I won't be returning to the radio until my emotions are under better control. Even then, I'll have someone around to cut the mic in case I become upset. But I will understand completely if that's not a risk you're willing to take. The last thing I would ever want to do is harm my fellow residents of this amazing mountain community.

In the meantime, Crowley is doing a wonderful job of hosting our weekly round-up single-handedly. Did you all catch his broadcast yesterday? I haven't enjoyed a radio interviewer this much since Terry Gross! Who, by the way, would make an excellent addition to our citizenry, if the Pod God is taking suggestions.

Doctor Crusher, I don't think this is one of my allergic reactions. But I woke up short, stout, and hairy. Like full beard hairy.

So, what do people do for fun around here? Capture the flag seems good but that's only once a month. There ought to be more things going on. Sports? Something? Work hard, play hard, right?

If, say, someone was predisposed to being allergic or having reactions to various things, and say they maybe wanted to explore the surrounding area, you wouldn't see anything wrong with that, right?

It has come to my attention that I haven't introduced myself on this network. I am Commander Spock of the USS Enterprise and formerly of planet Vulcan.

I am told as well I should apologize for my taste in dress, although it does not seem logical to do so. I am not accustomed to the rapid changes in Earth's climate, and I find this attire to be an efficient adaptation.

Well, this is certainly interesting. Can't say I was expecting this.

Anyways, Jim Kirk here, at your service. Currently I'll be working as a scout since there doesn't seem to be much need for a starship captain here.
