The 100; a panfandom game

With the batch of Podkru we lost a month ago, it's become clear that we've lost quite a few positions. Several of our jobs are dangerously low on staff. Unfortunately, they're all pretty important to make sure this place runs. If anyone has any kind of experience or would like to switch positions (or even take a few hours volunteering), you would be so helpful.

The positions we're desperately in need of are:

• Radio Operators
  
• Nurses
  
• Laundry Services
  
• Shoemakers

I know these positions aren't the most prestigious but they are vital. I'm taking on ever shifts in fishing, radio, and laundry when I'm not out of the compound. If you can help, please do.

So, is there like... rules in place about what kind of animals we're allowed to have? Provided they're not eating people and stuff, right?

Just kidding, fuckers. You can't eat my nug, no matter if it's got creepy human hands or not. I already have at sunrise each day rituals for the dead in the mountain, but I do the same today for those who died in the battle this week. You want to come see? I show you how we honor our dead in Floukru. These may not have been our people, but I honor them anyway. I know some say they want to know our culture, so I think to offer.

RESCUE & RECOVERY:

I need volunteers to head out tomorrow. Military's found some dead Grounders and what they think might be some of our people who left the mountain. Either way, these people deserve to honored by their people, so that's what we're going to go: head out there and bring them back.

CLARKE GRIFFIN:

You think you can get a hold of Lexa? Some of her people were among the dead.

MILITARY SERGEANTS - ALL:

Earlier today, we were informed of an altercation or some other event with some Grounders who were communicating via their walkies. We couldn't get a confirmation on what was happening, so we send a scout team out to the location.

Unfortunately, it wasn't a great sight they stumbled on. About half a dozen people were found in that frozen state, and another ten or so were killed. It looks like a battle of some sort, but we're not sure what happened.

We're sending R&R out to recover the bodies so we can give them proper burial. The statues are just like the others. Hard as a rock, no real way to draw blood or any other kind of medical test to see what's going on.

Right.

For those of you I've not met directly, I apologize. I've not been as present and available as I should be, and I'm going to fix that from here on. My name is Clarke, for those who are new. I serve as Co-Head of Operations alongside Bellamy.

I'm going to be establishing a consistent set of 'office hours' on Sunday afternoons from 2pm until 5pm. Basically, I'll be available for questions, comments, concerns, etc. Whatever you have on your mind, I'm willing to listen. I want to make sure that we're functioning as well as possible within the mountain.

Of course, I'm always available outside of Sundays too, I just may be a bit more distracted.

Hello. I'm trying to make sure I'm not completely behind and off-base -- would you mind giving me a general idea of what's going on in each department? It's not required, obviously, but it'd help me get caught up on what I've missed while distracted. Just a general gist sort of thing, that's all I'm interested in. If you've got any special projects that I can help with, let me know that too.

Anyone who's wanting to keep one of those things is going to need somewhere secure to keep it. If anyone recognises them and knows what sort of living conditions they need, can you let us know? Assuming Command says it's okay we should be able to put something together to keep them away from places they shouldn't be.

OCTAVIA & BELLAMY:

I'm sure we're all busy today, but tomorrow, I'd like to teach you a few new things. Neither of you knows how to fight with a staff, correct?

Is there something happening?

Lydia looks like she's going to scream. She only does that when someone dies, and now they won't let me go outside to hunt. Is someone dying outside? Who is it? All my friends are here so it's not anyone I care about, but someone else might care about them.

What's going on?

MILITARY & COMMAND:

Surveillance spotted three disturbances just outside our perimeter. To the north, our intel indicates the presence of four frost giants. East south east, roughly 100 robots. West, orcs.

We're taking volunteers from our military ranks to form three separate teams to handle this. These teams will investigate the disturbances, and defend our home. From what I've been told about what's out there, you should expect hostility. The remaining military will then be assigned to the second and third lines of defense, as well as guard posts, to ensure all of the civilians within our walls are safe. You'll provide back-up, if necessary. Listen to your commanders' orders.

It should go without saying, but until we tell you otherwise, this information is strictly classified. There is no need to incite panic among the rest of the population if we can take care of this at a distance, and I have faith that we can. If these threats make it past our front line, we'll handle it. For now, we're concentrating on making sure they don't get close enough to breach our walls in the first place.

The visiting Floukru have asked to stay, and the Chancellor has taken them in as full citizens. With the Trikru gone and the Skaikru who belong in Arkadia getting ready to leave, we should be less crowded in the coming months.

To anyone who has a problem with the Floukru, remember that not all Grounders are the same. The Boat Clan's leader is the most peaceful clan in the area. That may not mean much to you, but a commander who stays out of conflict as much as possible is a rare thing here. That they're asking to be part of this community is significant. They see value here if they want to stay in this mountain despite its history and the Skaikru treating them like dirt. You should encourage your people to have respect for that instead of letting them anonymously insult people.

The Grounders aren't perfect, but when we have a problem with each other, we say it out loud.

I have mixed feelings about the Floukru staying. I should be grateful maybe, but I'm no more part of them than anyone. At least I don't need to keep my head down around them.

If the water goes cold again tonight just wait until the morning, the tanks can only heat so much at once. Try to be sensible about it for everyone's sake.

Anyone got ideas about flames coming from the wall? I had a look down that corridor and can't see anything mechanical to even set a trap off, let alone cause flames.

I don't even care, I'm spending at least ten minutes in the shower. I just wish we had baths.

I tend to get into the worst kinds of trouble when I am allowed too much leisure time. With that in mind, I've made a list of skills I wish to learn and a list of those I am qualified to teach. Please let me know if a trade appeals to you, or if you would be willing to pass on your knowledge for something else entirely. I am quite flexible, I promise you.

Skills Wanted:
- Proper handling of modern firearms
- Better understanding of technology, including this, what is it again, tablet?
- More advanced needlework
- Any languages not listed below

I am proficient with a crossbow and a small gun of sorts, but firearms have come a long way. I would prefer to keep all of my fingers. As for the needlework, I can stitch a wound, sober or not. I can even sew a parachute I am not afraid to deploy. But I usually paid someone else to do any actual tailoring. Also, it is not a skill, but I am rather fond of paintings and would be grateful to obtain a few.

Teachable Skills:
- Italian. Latin. Some French. Some Turkish, but it is embarrassingly bad. On second thought, no Turkish.
- Sword fighting, dagger throwing
- Acrobatics
- Stealth and tracking
- Grappling, quick and deadly take-downs
- Pickpocketing Dancing.
- I was once fairly good on the lute, but saying I am out of practice would be an understatement

With most of Jaha gone back to camp we've got the chance to run proper stress tests on all the systems that have been over capacity all winter and see where we need to focus. If anything goes down put in a report but don't worry too much. It's probably just us.

[Infrastructure]
If you're not already working on something else you'll be either checking test results or working on walkies and comms. I know it's not the most exciting work but it's important and it'll hold us over until we can get the build outside going again.

COMMAND:

There has still been no sign of the missing persons from the other week. We lost their trail within our perimeter, and have not picked it up again. Unless someone is able to sense their presence somewhere, I fear we may be waiting for an answer for a long time. For now, I would recommend that the scouts and guards continue to keep an eye out for any signs, however unlikely it may be.
