WHAT: In a quiet moment, Shepard finally confronts Kaidan about what he said during the truth plot, because he'd expected Kaidan to come to him first. Kaidan's migraines are becoming more than just migraines, thanks to his faulty L2 biotic implants, and Shepard learns that Hawke's been doing some fucked-up stuff to keep Kaidan out of pain.

Fight Club might have just been the best fun I've ever had while I was losing. I can't even be mad that I didn't make it past the first round. Logan, I owe you drinks until my bruises heal.

LAW ENFORCEMENT:

We're not rounding anyone up, but the comments made on the network yesterday were hostile. I'd like to know what we're dealing with in case some kind of situation occurs.

I need someone to get with a Systems Administrator and see if they can trace where it came from. I need someone else to patrol common areas with open terminals and keep an eye out. And lastly, I need a few people to go into this meeting they're apparently having in 501 today.

This might just be people blowing smoke, but it may be the beginning of something that cabin fever really digs into.

Not that any of you need to know that.

So basically what I'm saying is that I'd like to kiss someone if it doesn't mean that I'll have to take antibiotics after or worry that I'm going to die. The line starts after Mordin says it's okay.

Since the firearms competition got some good results, it's about time we did it again. Instead of regular hand to hand class on Tuesday, we're going to have a friendly contest to see which of you has picked up the most in the last three months. No bleeding and no actual murder attempts, all right? Winner gets a sense of satisfaction.

I know we have some new people and some of our students and teachers have disappeared recently, so let me say hello, I'm Commander Shepard. I've organized beginner's training classes that meet on weekdays. Anyone is welcome to sign up, and there are some open spaces for teachers if any of you are experts and want something extra to do with your time.

Living in a world like this isn't too strange for me. Being able to eat the food is, but my people have always lived in space, in what we call a Flotilla. We only just now re-established on our homeworld and things have been ... well. Bleak, in the galaxy. But this just reminds me a lot of home.

I have a million ideas for improvements and projects, I don't know what to start on first. Omni-tools? Drones? Weapon modifications? Improved generators? Vehicle engines?

I don't suppose there's any eezo around here...

It is a good thing there are no vehicles here for Lito to drive, he does not handle stress well behind the wheel and I think he is at his limit as is.

I hope it is a good omen that I was brought here during Día de los Muertos, but I cannot say, yet. It is not what I expected for myself, but I would always be where Li I will strive to make the best of it. You have all made much of this world, despite circumstances.

What are weddings usually like in this world? Or in any world that someone here comes from, really. I'm curious. I've only ever seen Andrastian weddings, and only then either in the little foothills village I grew up in or in Kirkwall. I never thought much of what they would be like somewhere else, but now I find myself in the position of arranging one and therefore the topic holds more interest.

No need for alarm, though there was a lot of ghostly dry heaving for a while there. Loki filled me in on what's been happening, and then bothered the shit out of me until I posted here. So here I am. Verity Willis.

Let's get a few things straight though, before you go and try to talk to me. I'm mostly a recluse by necessity and a little bit by choice. People lie and they lie a lot, and sometimes it's about the stupid shit. I'm basically a human lie detector. I can tell when you believe something, and I can decipher if it's actually true (depending on if it's emotion-based or not). I can see through illusions — shitty ones or God-like ones. I can't enjoy sarcasm or most fiction for this same reason. I see every kind of lie. My sense just sort of pings all over the place. LIE. LIE. LIE.

So. Recluse.

At least until Loki came along. Go ahead. Make the joke, but know that if you put him in that box of evil, I'll rip you a new asshole for it. He's spent a long time and went through a lot of trials to accept himself and he fought against his own future evil self and won. So the Loki any of you might have known is no longer. I believe in him.

That's not to say that he's not a little shit-stirrer. He wouldn't be the God of Stories without a few pranks up his sleeves. Nobody's perfect.

Oh, and medical, I'm really sorry about the dead body coming in only to get reawakened on your shift. I'm pretty sure that was pretty fucked up for a lot of you. Here's hoping that it doesn't happen again any time soon. Kaidan and Shepard, I think that dead body smell will go away after a few hours. It's really gross.

As far as kidnappings go, this one's got legs. Remote forest? Mountainside lair? Nice attention to detail, except for one thing: the bulk of the Wayne holdings was filtered through charities weeks ago. So if it's money you're after, you're about to have a real bad day, friend.

I've been using my omni-tool for the network for so long that it feels weird to have the tablet in my hands again. Hopefully Mordin will have it repaired by tomorrow. My armor, not so much. There's still a plate missing, it's somewhere out there.
