Keelah. This is what dying feels like, isn't it? Everything hurts and my head and stomach and ughhhhh

This is worse than when I drink too much AND get a cold. Go on without me, save yourselves.

Think we can call it - Chuck and Ned are gone.

Well, Veronica, you're back to a one-woman detective unit. Which (to be fair) is your natural and reliable state. We're only in an alternate universe; there's no need to change things up so much.

I keep hoping I'll get used to seeing Lilly's face. That I'll turn a corner, see Luna Lovegood, and be perfectly unaffected. Composed. Cool. She's paler than Lilly was - going to guess the Lovegoods don't have a swimming pool out back - but I've seen her smile. Had to turn around, walk away. It's not her fault, and she doesn't need to know. "Hi, you look like my murdered best friend. Did you know that I've seen your brain peeking out from your hair part? Wowsers."

If there's one thing I've learned, it's that you don't drag bystanders into your bullshit. Be an island, Mars. Not all of us can be Maui. You can settle for being Staten.

See you around, pie-freaks. I hope you figure it out.

To all those looking for the dragon, good luck. If it is sleeping, do not wake it. That may yet buy us a lifetime without the need for slaughter. You may think this advice to be obvious, but I was still awoken by some who I can only assume received the same warning.

I know I said I wanted to be more responsible, but I thought there'd be a little more easing into it. It's a bit like considering getting a houseplant and being handed a kid.

Luckily it's not quite as high stakes as if we were actually a fighting unit... I can do this.

Elena's gone.

Chatty to Ward

Elena disappeared. Right in front of me. I swear this place wants to torture me.

Can I stay with you for a few days. Elsa keeps sneezing snow everywhere. And, while I want to look after her. It's cold. I can't sleep here.

Chess club tomorrow and I'm happy to say most of you aren't terrible.

The beginners seem to be listening and interested so color me pleasently surprised.

Now if only I could get used to living in a damn mountain and hearing that there might be a dragon dropped into casual mountain conversation.

Okay, sick folks. I am hereby volunteering myself as delivery boy for you. Technically I'm an alien and my healing is really, really good, so Earth diseases don't do anything to me, so unless someone modified this illness to effect all of us and not just the humans

No one did that, right? This is just normal, run-of-the-mill human flu or something, right? That's it?

I'm dying

The first gross snotty sick person who comes near me gets a punch in the face. Actually, every gross snotty sick person who comes near me gets a punch in the face.

If you're sick, for the love of Christ, stay home and don't get your nasty-ass fluids all over the rest of us.

[info]swhite in [info]the100

There is nothing worse than half a dozen sick babies, and I know that I'm going to get sick in the middle of all of this. I'll press on, though. Work to be done, but if anyone needs anything for the Chancellor, I'm in my housing unit, but I can be reached through radio.

I ask that all of those who are experiencing symptoms and are in positions where they will be dealing with people to please stay in your quarters. We will fill in without having to jeopardize your health.

I had an exciting announcement to make but now I can't remember what it was. I can barely remember how to breathe. I think I might be dying.

Leslie, are you still here? Everyone I love keeps going away.

Being sick is about as much fun as you might imagine.

I can't decide if I'm cold or hot.

I'm already learning Shyriiwook but is anyone offering classes that can help us understand the Grounders? Because I'd like to sign up for that if there is one.

It'll help with being able to write down any of the stories they have to tell.

You've been ignoring me Phil. Ever since I asked for details. And that was a while back now.

Want to fill in some blanks yet or are you still ignoring me?

I know you too well to think you didn't watch our story.

I seem to be immune to the sickness that is going around so if anyone needs anything, please let me know. I can get things for you, bring you food although I can't cook it, I'm happy to help.

I wanted to see how you were feeling, hopefully you haven't caught what's going around.
I've been lucky so far.

[info]removedhisheart in [info]the100

Nope. Not dealing with all of the sick people. Just stay away.

First. Tell me you're not sick.

Second. My roommate's gone.

[info]whatwedid in [info]the100

You were right the other day. I should know better, and I should keep some things to myself around other people. They don't need to know everything.

But we still need to talk.

I know the call has gone out, but if anyone of the very young or very old begin to experience flu-like systems, please visit us in medical so that we can keep an eye on you. To those of you who find yourself falling in between and experiencing symptoms, take these following recommendations seriously, because I am a doctor. So listen.

The flu is a virus and it generally can't be treated unless it's caught extremely early. Therefore, the management of symptoms is the main thing we need to be concerned with outside of full-blown prevention. While you're washing your hands frequently and staying out of public areas, here are a couple things to help you alleviate symptoms:
  • LIQUIDS. Your virus will thrive in dried out throats and nasal passages. Drink frequently - water, unsweetened juice or decaffeinated tea. If the gatherers or the kitchen can find any echinacea, this might be helpful to the cause.

  • NEUTROPHILS. These are white blood cells inhibited by soups such as vegetable or chicken noodle (any soup that raises the temperature in the throat, really).

  • ALLICIN. Garlic contains this pungent antimicrobial. If garlic is available, try to ingest a clove every 3-4 hours. Sorry vampires.

  • SWEAT. Spices like cinnamon, coriander and ginger are often thought to alleviate fever. If these spices are available, try 250 mL of hot water, mix 1/2 teaspoon (2 mL) each of powdered coriander and cinnamon with 1/4 teaspoon (1 mL) of powdered ginger. Let it steep for 10 minutes, then drink.

  • [info]seventhsmartest in [info]the100

If anyone's down with the pod god and wants to make some requests. Now might be a good time to ask him for some chicken soup and decongestant.
