I never thought I'd use the term futuristic anachronism, but I can't think of anything better to describe this place. The technology and medical advances seem so far beyond what I'm used to, yet it's as if it's horribly outdated by the standards you'd expect here.

I've been searching and going over every damn place Marie showed me she liked to venture off to while gathering things for everyone. And I still ain't finding a trace of her anywhere. I dunno if any of the rest of you who do that job got any idea where else she might have gone. But I'm open to suggestions.

Also considering just heading out for a few days of non-stop looking further and further around the perimeter for a few miles. I doubt she accidentally wandered Jean or Rachel would be able to hea And the butterfl

There are some caves that could use a bit more of a look over if nothing else.

Are the only high-speed communication methods here controlled by the local government? The radio, the network...do I understand correctly that there's nothing else?

I think it's time we got together and discussed the elephant in the room, now that Wanda's back.

It must be said that we aren't truly related, not by the laws of our universe, but our worlds are all fractured pieces of each other. Piece together enough, and a picture emerges:

Now that I'm a bit more settled in I thought I'd ask for a bit of help. Dr. Foster and I are attempting to put together a database of all of the universes represented here as well as any supernatural or magical elements that might go along with them. We'd also like to gather as much information about universes that may have once been represented here, but are no longer. I've come up with a survey for individuals to fill out and we will also be canvasing as well.

The hope is that with a better understanding of the magics and supernatural elements found in each universe we may be able to help individuals here. The possibilities across universes is really quite fascinating and there can be some good we can do for our fellow man perhaps.

Mystique and Betsy have both mentioned all of us doing stuff together. So I think it's time for us to actually make a plan to do something.

Tomorrow night, dinner in the mess hall. Those of us who wanna can share stories, jokes, whatever you're wanting.

I was gonna suggest a friendly game of basketball or baseball, but those never end well. Cause some of y'all are cheaters.

I been real quiet lately, I know that.

But that's okay, cause I guess I've been throwing myself pretty hard in my job. I found a place where freshwater clams like to hide out. I also found watercress and forest elder. I even fell in the water but that wasn't a big deal. Just a pretty red nose and a hard run back to the mountain.

But all those things. That's got to be some kind of soup, right?

It's difficult to tell who has left this dimension and who hasn't. We have trackers in place, and those are voluntary, but if you leave it in the bathroom or the in the compound, we have no way of telling whether you've disappeared.

I'd like to offer my telepathy services. If I can get a glimpse into someone's brain waves, I can discern individuals and then trace where they've gone. I won't go into anyone's brain unasked for, but it would be helpful to determine more quickly who is still here.
