The 100; a panfandom game

Most days, it's easy to forget that Max isn't used to going outside, playing in the grass (or sleeping in it, which is more what this lazy lump of a dog does now). He's so damn comfortable in here. It's all he knew. Different bases, different shatterdomes. Metal hallways and stale air. It was no life for a dog, but he kept my son company when Chuck didn't want anyone else around, and Max never knew any different. He seemed happy enough to tag along, as long as he had us around.

I'm finding out here that he's very fond of mud. Less fond of baths.

Now that we've put some distance between ourselves and what happened in Storybrooke, I wanted to see how you're all managing. I haven't had a damn clue what to say or think about the whole thing. Can anyone keep an eye on my dog when if this ends up in a fight? Max is well-behaved when I've got to work, but I don't want him trying to follow me around much more. He's great with kids, real easy-going. You won't have any trouble getting him to mind you.

I'm no good at speeches, so I'll keep this short. At some point, the siege will be over - one way or another. If we fight, I know we're as prepared as we're going to be. We've been working well as a unit, so I know we'll be fine out there. If we get separated, listen to the nearest sergeant or general. Rest while you can, stay strong, stay ready.

I will say that woman does know how to clip off her consonants. What a rather hilarious situation, because I think she sounds very much like my mother. All the better that these home-grown gifts to arrive in perfect time with her voice. I fear she might next send me to my room for muddying my pinafore.

I'm quite sure you're all aware of my habit of cultivating stockpiles of ammunition for a rainy day. In addition to all the weapons I've got already, the pod dropped off another collection of Howard Stark specials, including:

A gamma cannon we used to seal zero matter into a different universe. It's got one charge to it, then it looks like the batteries are good and fried.

A tool that will more or less wipe a person's memory for a good several moments.

I've still got that bloody Midnight Oil, too

And I suppose the reason I'm telling you this is I trust you all to know it's here and make good decisions if it's ever needed. Otherwise, I'm sitting on it with no real use.

There's been some shuffling of the military lately, which I'm sure will be common-place here, since we never know who'll leave or arrive when. As long as we keep an open mind about that and welcome any newcomers with open arms, I think we'll be good here. We'll meet up Friday morning to show Ahsoka what we know. And vice versa.

And as a reminder, I don't want to see anyone falling for that Starbucks out front, us or anyone else. I know people miss coffee, but remember what Sergeant Pentaghast said the other week. If you see anyone there, try to talk them out of it before half the mountain is God knows what. Better safe than sorry, no matter how appealing the treats are.

One of my soldiers, Susan Pevensie, believes that the stone butterfly found yesterday may be a real butterfly that has been magically turned into stone. If that is the case, the only way she is aware of to reverse the process is through the power of a lion named Aslan. We think it prudent to investigate whether any of the magic held by others here might also serve to undo what has been done.
