Boy Blue was right. I always date whoever adds excitement to my life, not the person who actually deserves my love like he did. He couldn't fix me. I don't think anyone can. I hurt him so badly. I knew he was in love with me, but I didn't do anything about it. I was too afraid to let myself be in love with someone who would actually treat me right because I'm convinced that I don't deserve it.

I miss him every day. Every single minute.

Yesterday, we were beset on all sides by a hideous enemy from my past. No one knows how she got here, but according to some, she's been here for over a month, listening to our conversations, hiding in our mirrors like the calculating schemer that she is. I can't apologize for her appearance though I may desperately want to. Her actions are her own, and it was her actions that caused a great deal of anguish and violence inside Mount Weather. I regret that more than you can possibly know.

I have seen hundreds of years of war. I have witnessed great men and woman cut down in their prime by sadists and evil men. We have all fallen to Earth in our various ways, but we have risen up to stand side by side, though we may have our differences. You have shown your courage, your fortitude, and your unbelievable strength. Without each and every one of you, we could not have survived.

We would not have survived, make no mistake.

Those who turn their pain, anger, and violence toward this community will find themselves faced with an impenetrable wall and spears to their faces. We will not go quietly into the night, but raise hell and take our enemy with us. You have fought too hard and too long for the survival of this community to allow anyone to overrun it for their own purposes

We are not without our losses, though. We have lost many men, women, and children to this adversary. Join the Chancellor, as well as the Councillor's this Sunday morning at Lemkin Cemetery to mourn and honor them.

I'm heading out on recon. I'm sending you my plans and my timeline and should be back by Saturday. If I'm not back by Saturday night, put together a travel-ready team that can come find me, because something's gone wrong.

So here's the deal: I've been approved for long-distance recon to check out some abandoned military bunkers that should exist in this world. I'm leaving in a couple of hours and will be back Saturday. I'll be way, way out of range of the network.

ATTENTION RESIDENTS OF MOUNT WEATHER:

It's come to my attention recently that one of our Fables has been spotted around Mount Weather. Her name is Bloody Mary, and she's a lot more vicious and cruel than you may even think. She can use any reflective surface — mirrors, windows, glasses — as a portal which means that if you have any of those things in your housing, you may want to remove them temporarily until she can be dealt with. She has short black hair with red streaks at the front, freckles and is pale.

I know that a lot of you may believe that you can handle her, but I urge you not to take her on by yourself. She very nearly killed Bigby several times, and he's a tough son of a bitch. I ask that you inform us if you see her, and then find a safe location without a reflective surface.

I just saw a woman carrying around an axe. I think I saw her in the mirror awhile I don't recognize her, at all.

BIGBY WOLF:

Well, that was a complete fuck-up. Times like this I wish I could have a bottle of Scoth.

I've already gotten with Law Enforcement this morning. They're beefing up presence around the compound, making themselves known more. Nothing out of the ordinary in the aftermath of this bullshit. Personally, I think the guy should have been shoved down the Witching Well for all eternity, but goddamnit if people don't just get in the way of doing things by the book.

ROSE RED:

Since a few of you have asked on the network, I thought I'd go ahead and let you know that you have the all-clear to head outside. We recommend against traveling out of doors without a radio or your tablet, if you're traveling within the 5 mile perimeter. Outside of that, you'll need a tracker, no exceptions. The snow may have stopped, but the signs and markers we used to know where we were have been hidden by the snow. Please use your best discretion.

It might be a Tuesday, but I'm thinking about checking out that new Tavern I've been hearing about. It's been a long couple of weeks adjusting to things here. It's time to drink it away. Who's in?

You and I haven't talked a whole lot since I arrived. I'm not even sure if you know me. Snow said you came from an earlier point in time than us. So, hi? I'm Rose Red, Snow's sister. I doubt she's even mentioned me.

So, that body that was found the other day. I performed the autopsy. He definitely died of asphyxiation. But, theres's no obvious cause. No, signs of strangulation. Nothing blocking his nose, or throat. My full report will be sent to you all. But, currently I'm saying that cause of death is inconclusive.

I wish Sherlock was here. He'd figure this out

Unfortunately, our surveillance has been monitoring a blizzard for the past few hours, and it's showing no sign of letting up. As of now, no one is allowed to leave Mount Weather without permission from Command and a tracker on your person, and even then you'd better have a damned good reason why you need to leave the facility. Don't be an idiot.

Stay vigilant and start practicing patronus charms with each other as often as possible. Per Tonk's post, Potter was volunteered for teaching, and that Vance, McGonagall, Lupin and myself are all available for instruction as well. We're lucky there are so many of us here, but that won't mean anything if we're not prepared.

Your plan's been authorized, and you've been named Long Distance Recon Coordinator. I recommend recruiting Octavia Blake and Lincoln, the heads of Rescue & Recovery to help you with recovery missions whenever items that could be of use are found, but that's all up to you, of course.

FRIENDS WHO WENT TO HER LITTLE PARTY LAST NIGHT:

Honestly, I'd completely forgotten about my birthday until Steve reminded me yesterday, so ... thanks. It means a lot. I've been through a hell of a lot recently with my head being what it is and I think I've just kind of thrown myself into the housing projects to keep from going stir-crazy. I haven't really kicked back and had a good time with friends in a while.

Have I been a stick in the mud? Crap, I probably have been.

LEADERSHIP/DEPARTMENT HEADS+SECONDS:

Not gonna talk your ear off about this, but now that we've got some kind of BS treaty with the Grounders I want to seriously propose a recon mission that goes out way past our borders. I know I've brought it up, but you guys have your hands full with the day-to-day here. So, I drew up some plans (surprise, Steve) and I'm sending them to your phones now.

More and more people keep showing up, resources are going to get thinner, and we can't keep relying on random drops from the Pod God.

Included in the plans are locations of military bunkers that I know to exist in my world (which is comparable except for the superpower stuff) — like Raven Rock in Pennsylvania (practically next door), Cheyenne Mountain in Colorado, the Burlington Bunker in the UK, and the Shanghai Complex in China. If Mount Weather managed to sustain a population for a century, these places might have, too. Even if I don't find a surviving population, I could find resources.

We don't know anything past our pocket of the world, but the planet's a big one. I'm just proposing we try to learn more about it. Right now the Grounders are controlling the surrounding area on the ground and keeping us boxed in on their terms, but I can fly over them.
