With everyone on edge, I thought it might be a good idea to enact an event that Jacob and I have back home, in London. We call them Fight Clubs, and they are essentially just as they sound - a way to unlock your inner pugilist. Prize fighting, with your fists. No weapons, no other powers or anything besides you and your opponent in a ring, punching the living daylights out of each other. You fight until you or your opponent is on the ground, not to the death and taking care to not cause any permanent damage - especially given medicine is rationed. It's not for beginners, mind you, but should you have skills in fisticuffs, we welcome you to join us.

I'll be giving a demonstration tomorrow evening, in the gym. 7pm. Should you wish to also participate in the trial run, I welcome a challenge. And you can also go up against my brother, he's quite fun to smack about. But following this, we'll make it a more official thing, say once a month? For bragging rights, given that money is rather useless here.

So, this isn't going to make me any friends, but why don't we just let Emerson die? We know damn well he did what we're debating, and he's just a drain if we stick him in a cell. Nobody wants to take care of him, and if he ever gets free, he's just dangerous. Or just dump him in the snow and let him freeze. This trial is just drawing things out for no good reason.

Since the firearms competition got some good results, it's about time we did it again. Instead of regular hand to hand class on Tuesday, we're going to have a friendly contest to see which of you has picked up the most in the last three months. No bleeding and no actual murder attempts, all right? Winner gets a sense of satisfaction.

I know we have some new people and some of our students and teachers have disappeared recently, so let me say hello, I'm Commander Shepard. I've organized beginner's training classes that meet on weekdays. Anyone is welcome to sign up, and there are some open spaces for teachers if any of you are experts and want something extra to do with your time.

My life just keeps getting stranger and stranger. This is... definitely a first.

I might need to start handing out "Sorry, you're rooming with and/or next to a banshee, I apologize in advance" business cards. I was kind of hoping for a lack of issues with it while I was here but there were complications. So. Sorry. Can't help it, can't stop it. I try to drown it out or take walks where no one ends up on the receiving end, but last night took me by surprise. Sort of.

I suggest earbuds. Or drawing straws with other people to figure out who gets to be near the girl that screams occasionally.

As many of you are aware, Carl Emerson has been arrested and is now awaiting his trial for crimes against the people of the Ark and the 100. We have established the details of the trial. I will be presiding over the trial as an arbitrator only, and there will be a jury of ten people within the mountain who will be chosen from the Podkru who arrived after the werewolf war to keep this as impartial as we can. Please refrain from explaining the details of the case from anyone who has come from after that time period. Mr. Nelson will be handling the Prosecution of this case, and Mr. Murdock has agreed to Defend Carl Emerson.

The jury decisions will be made on November 27th, and all of those who arrived after August 29th, the werewolf war, are required to attend a special meeting in G1 for selection. From those, we will chose the best candidates to give Mr. Emerson a fair trial which will begin on November 30.

I ask that you all remember that we must be fair, even to those we believe have wronged us, or this society will not function in a healthy manner.

You know what's fun, getting your desktop. What's even better is setting it up in your office and going through everything and out of all the games that are installed on your machine, you fall into the black hole of Civilization 5. Can't stop, won't stop.

I'm overdue in thanking those that were helpful to me during the transitional arrival period. It's still - frankly - bizarre to lack a secret identity, but I appreciate the part where none of you tried to arrest or kill me. So, thanks. We touched something real, guys. Never forget that.

I understand that there's some apprehension regarding our new trading rules with the Grounders. It's a given, of course, that they'll take advantage, or we'll take advantage, and something will go downright medieval in its implosion. Little's perfect. The good news is that we're well-protected and we have active, involved leadership to help us keep the problems contained and dealt-with on a case-by-case basis. If there's an issue, bring it up. We'll solve it together.

Because I'm going to know if you don't.

I don't like asking for help, but Lirael's magic didn't get the Mark of Cain off of me, so I'm opening it up. Anyone good with curse-breaking, you're invited to poke at my arm and see if you can't get it off. It's old, old Biblical magic meant to lock away a primordial pre-Biblical force, but Heaven and Hell don't seem to exist here, so taking it off probably won't break anything.

I think I smacked into whatever portal's been dropping us into this reality when I was exorcised. An exorcism is like a forceful launch down into Hell; Hell must not exist here, because I got catapulted up into the sky instead and hit some kind of barrier like a train. I didn't get a good look because I was hurling toward it by force, but something was up there to run into. Don't know. I know I never want to do that again. Worst vertigo of my life.

Never a dull moment here, is there? It seems like if it's not werewolves, it's people switching bodies, or demons, or God knows what else. I thought I was going to get a vacation. I really wanted a God, I hope this isn't my life at home too. Life doesn't pay well enough for weird shit.
