As several of you probably know, Charlie Bradbury (aforementioned interim BFF, since departed) had a collection of media on an external drive. Movies, books, comics, music, etc. How much did she have? A metric EXPLETIVE!-load. She'd been working on putting that wealth on the network because sharing is caring, but the whole thing stagnated. Until now, that is.

So, if you feel particularly self-loathing and foster any desires to read a dramatized version of your worst days ever, this may be good news for you! I'm going to see where she left off, and then I'm going to start releasing content in bite-sized chunks, oh... let's say starting next week. Binge-watchers, I do this for your own good.

I may slowly be adjusting to this world; it would help that there are many from home here, too, and I can still use magic.

All I hear is people whining about something asinine around here.

ATTENTION!

I see several of you are experiencing an off-rhythm type of morning. Let me know who you are and... what you are. It's an official count for official business.

Any former Brits want to indulge in Bonfire night next month? I was sort of hoping to have a little bit of nostalgia around here, and I haven't smelled a proper bonfire in ages. Can't do for fireworks, but a bonfire, a good cup of tea, and huddling around the fire to keep warm.

Who is the expert on locally available fauna?

[Filter: HP folks, Snow, Bigby, and those who have asked about the Wolfsbane Potion]
I have put together a list of the ingredients, and the instructions for all the good it is likely to do us immediately.

There are three ingredients that in our world are magical in nature and thus not likely to be easily found in this world. There are additionally ten other ingredients that while mundane in origin may or may not exist in their form here in this world. Either they may be extinct, they may never have existed here, or they may be altered in such a way that it would make the potion impossible to reproduce.

I wish to state very clearly that this potion is not your simple stone soup. What goes into it and when matters tremendously. Three of its primary ingredients are poisons, and are found in use throughout many potions within Death, Despaire, and Delirium: Potions to Feed the Deepest Fears because they are intended to kill. In the case of this potion, it 'kills' the wolf for the period of the full and Belby's work was revolutionary in that way, but as you might imagine considering that fact it was not without cost and that cost was in lives of werewolves.

The end result is a potion that has improved many lives, but I cannot guarantee a successful potion here under current circumstances and likely could not even with the magical ingredients.

If you have questions ask them and I will answer what I can.

I've been here near to about a week and I realized that I never properly introduced myself, so I thought it best that I actually do something about that. So, hello, I'm Lily Potter. I'm from London and it was Christmas before I was brought here, so the change in weather has been something to get used to. Then again, anywhere that doesn't rain most of the time is a change in weather for me.

Um I'm working in medical as a doctor, so hopefully I'll never see you at work. Ha-haaa, terrible joke. My medical training was of the magical variety, but it isn't all wands and potions so I do know things. I specialized in Spell Damage and Creature-Induced Injuries back home, for whatever that may be worth.

Anyway, that's about it. I'm fairly boring. Lovely to meet you all.

[FILTERED TO HP PEOPLE]

It seems the lot of you already know of me, but I don't know a whole lot about any of you. I know we've quite a few Aurors here, though, which is a good start for what I'm about to ask. You all might be aware that we're in the process of constructing a containment center for the new werewolves we've got here. A number of enchantments have been requested, both for protection and comfort, to be placed on the facility. I need to know how many you already know how to do the following:

-- Advanced shield charms. The tricky part is we'll have to overlay them over the entire area and reverse them so they're actually rebounding toward the facility instead of keeping things from getting in.
-- Expansion charms, on rooms specifically. If any of you have ever gone camping or been out in the field extensively, standard issue tents have a low level expansion charm on them, as an example of what the goal is here. It's creating more space in a room than there appears to be. Anyone that knows how to achieve this would be extremely useful.
-- Sealing charms. Common for doors, making them only capable of being opened by whatever the spell designates. Obviously, this spell can only hold against so much force, which is where the shields will come in if it really comes to that.

For those of you who don't know how to do any of this, I'm willing to give instruction. I'd like as many of us from the same world to know how to perform and repair these spells at the ready in case of emergency. We have a large population here, so it's best if we're on the same page.

Testing?

This is so stupid. What am I even supposed to say? Should have given me a script, Bell

I'm supposed to be doing a test to see who can actually see this to check and see if the network is up and running. I guess if you can see this, reply back with your name and if you're having any kind of issues? I can pass them along to whoever.
