The 100; a panfandom game

Right, so me, myself and Clara are off to investigate snowmen, with big giant teeth. Brilliant, aren't they? You coming, Eyebrows?

Any ways, need to find the Great Intelligence. I know some of you have seen it on the telly. Big glass ball full of snow. Might need more than six eyes. And you lot all seem to be able to look out for yourselves. But, be careful. They can pop out of the snow anywhere. And, they are very dangerous.

Still don't really get this whole network thing, but Steve says writing messages here is standard. Guess I've heard crazier things, so here goes nothing...

You can call me Bucky. The doc says I should be getting out of the medical wing soon, so I get to rediscover what it's like being a contributing member of society. I guess I If there's an Alison Hendrix reading this, I'll stop by to introduce myself. Looks like you're my new boss.

MILITARY & COMMAND:

Surveillance spotted three disturbances just outside our perimeter. To the north, our intel indicates the presence of four frost giants. East south east, roughly 100 robots. West, orcs.

We're taking volunteers from our military ranks to form three separate teams to handle this. These teams will investigate the disturbances, and defend our home. From what I've been told about what's out there, you should expect hostility. The remaining military will then be assigned to the second and third lines of defense, as well as guard posts, to ensure all of the civilians within our walls are safe. You'll provide back-up, if necessary. Listen to your commanders' orders.

It should go without saying, but until we tell you otherwise, this information is strictly classified. There is no need to incite panic among the rest of the population if we can take care of this at a distance, and I have faith that we can. If these threats make it past our front line, we'll handle it. For now, we're concentrating on making sure they don't get close enough to breach our walls in the first place.

Blink and you miss it. I'd tell you all not to blink at all, but that advice is better served for another sort of confounding complication.

I'm sorry to those of you who have lost someone. Anything I can do? Apart from breaking more laws in time and space to get them back? I'm in no hurry to do that.

Starting to think I ought to check on you all on a weekly basis. Could chip you, I suppose, but I've a feeling you wouldn't be keen on that.

So, spot checks! Quite a whirlwind of absences of late by the looks of things.

It looks like we're all back to the way we were before. I know it wasn't easy for all of us, but hopefully we have a little more insight into one another now. You all got a front seat to what my life was like before I was Captain America, and since I wasn't much use then, if anyone has any questions about it now, I can try to answer.

I'd like to take a moment to thank everyone for lending a hand over the last few days, whether it was covering extra shifts or taking care of people who were suddenly children. We needed that kindness, and you delivered. It's that kind of answer to an uncomfortable situation that I like to see: our community coming together to help each other out.

No alien invasion in the sky makes it rather difficult to consider this as being Christmas. Hah! Don't usually stick around Earth long enough to watch the season roll into the holiday. Didn't altogether realise it was here, but so it is. Anyway! Good talk.Things to do, got to run.

I've been reading about holidays in the library, and it seems that nearly all of them revolve a great deal around food.

Any tips for room decoration? It's getting close to Christmas, thought it'd only be right to have something on my side of the room. No Christmas trees though, I don't need flashbacks. Maybe we'll have a quiet Christmas this year

A holiday tradition I know I miss are the Christmas crackers.

Right. Not where I expected to end up, but I'm glad to see the Earth's survived to 2150. And I don't see any strange planets in the sky. At least we're in the right place in the solar system. No sign of Daleks so far, that's a very good thing. We must've done something right back in 2008. Or, somebody else must have. Not sure I was around in this universe - and I'll admit that's a sentence I wasn't expecting to say anytime soon.

I'm Doctor Martha Jones, I'll be helping out in medical. And I've heard there are people I know here - Doctor? Jack? Donna? Are you on this network, or do I have to come looking for you?

You know how I can tell I've really gotten around? I'm delighted to have been dropped somewhere near a nice cozy bunker full of people who look like supermodels instead of being left out in the post-apocalyptic winter. Camping out in the snow wouldn't be my first choice. I like it in here. Very survival chic.

I've been doing a great deal of reading on the topic, but I confess to being no closer to understanding the dominant religions of this world. Not to say that I don't find their stories fascinating - I do! - but there seems to be such variety and disagreement as to interpretation that I hardly know what is popular and what is erm. Niche. Not that it's any different in my world - one moment a martyr, the next a heretic - but there's a broad deviation from what I believe to be true in my faith that I'm afraid I'm left quite confused.



So, let me ensure that this is correct: this season that we are in now - "Yule", or tomorrow - "Hanukkah", and later on "Christmas" - these holidays are all from separate faiths, correct? The first is a Pagan holiday celebrating the season of midwinter, the next is a holiday commemorating the unlikely survival of a people against a tyrannical ruler, and the last is a celebration of a child with godly parentage who will eventually be revered as the holy undead.

(Please correct me if I've phrased something incorrectly or been offensive. Yharnam is terribly isolated, in its own way, and while all these religions are interesting to read about it does make me homesick for the Bloodletting Feast of the Great One Reborn. Such revelry among the burning pyres! But alas.)
