Hate to add to the creepiness that we must already collectively be feeling in this place because of weird sightings.. but nobody here happens to have an invisible or lightning-quick child, do they? Because I am pretty sure thin air isn't supposed to feel like a small hand grabbing yours at any given moment.

And I had words in my mind earlier that I was going to write in this about the bout of illness and a request for any volunteers who would like to give blood samples so we can isolate a faster cure or even a prophylaxis for any newer guests arriving in this place to make sure we didn't have sick people on our hands again, but I clearly got distracted. Request is still open though.

Does anyone else regret never joining the boy scouts? Not for proper technique on tying square knots, but maybe because I don't actually know what poison sumac looks like.

Hey, everyone! We're organizing a game of Capture the Flag for August 23rd. If you're interested in playing, sign up here, either as an individual or a group if you want to be put on the same team. Otherwise, we're just going to divide people up randomly. We'll take sign ups until the 20th and then we'll split everyone into teams.

For those who have never played, here's the gist:

Two teams are made, and each team given a flag. Each team hides their flag somewhere visible, but easily defensible. To win for your team, you need to capture the opponent's flag and carry it across the border that we'll be setting up for the game. If you have question, you can ask me, Percy, Reyna, Thalia Bianca or Nico. Powers are allowed and everything you need to play will be provided. This isn't just for kids, all ages are welcome and encouraged. It's a lot of fun, but it's also good training, so I hope you'll all consider joining us.

So I got the rundown, first from the Doctors and then from a friend a guy I know that stupid confusing Moroi someone from home.

And weird as all this is, its kind of amazing to see how much you've all done in such a short time. You have a council which everyone just voted to elect representitives to, you have jobs for us all, there's a real little community here and that's kind of amazing.

It absolutely will take some getting used to but I guess time is on my side.

My name is Sydney Sage and I would like to help however I can. I was told I was placed in Administration but I'm not entirely sure in what capacity.

Also I heard a rumor about coffee. And I really truly need it to function. Is there coffee?

I mostly made sense of the explaination I got given. Or, well, okay not so much all of it. But I figure that will follow and I know the people here mean well.

So I guess now I need to know how I help? Till I get home I mean. I'm working as a farmer which is fair. I'm good with plants and things. But is there anything else I can do? What do people do around here for fun, social stuff?

You know, the lab here's pretty stocked for an end of the world scenario. I guess I should have known, what with Mount Weather being secret and all back in my world.

And I knew I should have dragged Angel to the States so I could get some tacos. Now I'm craving the hell out of them. I should learn how to make taco shells. We've got corn here, don't we?

After spending most of yesterday just exploring I think I've come to the conclusion that this place is more massive than the Massassi temples, which is saying something considering how many underground networks they had that the Rebellion never found and probably a few the Jedi still haven't found. No one cares Anakin

I wanted to say a somewhat belated thank you to everyone who has come out to see the play and to everyone who worked so hard to make it happen.

I was thinking that we should try to make capture the flag a more regular thing. Maybe monthly? We obviously didn't get it going for July, but we should plan a game again for next month. People seemed to have fun and it was nice to have that little reminder of home.
