It really doesn't feel as though it's most of the way through spring, with the way winter dragged on so long. And yet here we are, the season half gone, and I can't say I'm sorry for it since it means summer is coming all the sooner. Even if I do have to overhaul my wardrobe to suit.

Cards tonight, isn't it? I feel like I need to be social, with another roommate disappearing. I'm sorry to those who knew Cassandra better.

The weather is far more enjoyable than it was last month, and I'm feeling restless. After my shift with the children today, is anyone interested in a shooting contest?

I'm ... eh. Moderately good with a gun. I'd like to have a bit of fun with it, however. Also if anyone with one of those lovely "sniper rifles", as they're called, is willing to let me get my hands on one (unloaded is certainly fine with me), I'll treat it with all the respect it deserves.

So, last month, we talked about a weapons club and I'm happy to say we are getting it up and running. With the play and fight club, we were short on weekends this month, so April's fight club will be on Wed Apr 27 (info and signups here). In May we should be able to get it on a weekend that doesn't conflict with fight club or capture the flag. Can't wait to see a lot of you there.

It looks like I'm joining your ranks as the new sergeant of Charlie squad. I think I know most of you at least a bit since I've been here for awhile now, but I'm looking forward to working with you. I know previously we had some friendly competitions and such going between the squads and I'd love to get that back up and running.

With Sgt. Pentaghast's departure, command saw fit to put me in charge. It's an honor. I've fought with many of you in the past few battles, and personnaly, I think we're an awesome squad. Some of you might thing I'm too young for the job, but at home I was praetor, in charge of leading and training over 200 troops of Roman demi-gods and legacies. I think you know that I'm tough but fair.

Some of you have probably noticed that Edmund and I are in a relationship. I do not intend to treat him any differently than the rest of you, but I realize some of you may have a problem with this. If you do, please let me know and we'll work out a solution. Edmund and I both believe the squad comes first and he's volunteered to transfer if people think that would be best. For those that have been here awhile, this isn't the first time something like this has happened here, and people were able to separate things out.

My door's always open if any of you want to chat or have any suggestions. You know your strengths and weakness better than others.

I will be gone today. I go this morning to see Luna. I will return after, but probably stay to meet with some of my people while I am at the river.

There is much happening now with the border trouble -- it heats up in the time most of you were away. I have a restless feeling.

A head's up for everybody who works outside: the Ice Nation and the Woods Clan are having some border disputes that we need to stay away from. Some Trikru have already died for it, and if we don't want to add our own numbers to it, we need to respect Commander Lexa's requests to keep to ourselves and stay out of the fighting for now.

A last second invite to Polis arrived this morning, so I'll be leaving soon, along with the Chancellor, Councilor Kane and General Woeste. The trip shouldn't be long; Commander Lexa clearly wants to discuss something with our leaders, and Grounders tend to be very direct. Still, if anything happens in the meantime, Councilors Rogers and Adaar are staying here.


Bellamy + Octavia:

You've both been invited to Polis with me, Mom, Kane, and Woeste. The message arrived later than it was supposed to thanks to Azgeda harassing the messenger, so we've got about an hour before we have to be on the road.

I get to tag along to Polis, so if I don't come back, there's a list of who gets my stuff under my mattress. Look after our people for me.

So-- and I can't believe I'm about to use this phrase-- Dean was right. Ugh.

Lucifer has to go now, and I do mean now. Castiel is dying. Our little unscheduled holiday convinced him he was all alone and that fighting back was pointless, and Lucifer's ground him down into a pathetic lump. I told him he'd better get his fight back, but we'll see if a) he listened, and b) he can actually untuck his bollocks and get the job done.

Lucifer, mind you, is extremely pissed off and ready to murder Castiel, Dean, and me, in no particular order, but probably starting with me for warning Castiel. As you can see, he didn't succeed in killing me yet. I cast a banishment and some other warm and fuzzy hexes that may or may not succeed in weakening him. This world being what it is, who knows where the banishing actually dumped the contumelious sorner?

Little late to the party, but Kira's pretty tickled that there's one of those creepy little doll things that looks like me.

Pretty ready to watch everyone kick each other's asses tomorrow too. Seems a fitting end to the week we've had.

I've checked around but had no luck. No one's seen her for days. I'm pretty sure Mindy's gone.
