Damn it!

My ring's missing. I never take the damn thing off. So, if someone's somehow magically taken it off my finger. Then give it back. It isn't worth anything to you. The only one it is worth anything to, is me.

Filtered to Soldiers: Bravo Squad

And, until I get it back. I'm stuck inside during daylight hours. Unless someone wants a barbecue. And, if it's all the same to you. I'd rather not burn to death again. It gets old.

Chatty to Max

~ So, I spent the last hour trying to work out how to invite you over
~ Without sounding creepy as the last place we saw each other got very...involved and descriptive
~ And I'm not saying I want to have
~ I mean I don't not want to...
~ ...Hi Max.

>> Have you plans for the evening?

I was recently able to acquire a very functional shirt made of an unfamiliar material that was referred to as 'flannel'. Very soft, quite warm. While I don't abide by the idea of the Pod Gods, nor am I particularly impressed by the frozen squirrel that was recently shoved in my face accompanied by a fanatic shrieking at me to "BELIEVE", whatever forces are governing this world at least do provide a variety of items with which to pad our stack.

Although the reasoning behind spectacles sans prescription is eluding me.

Chess club, I am somewhat new to your game. Ms. Frye has taught me the basics; if it is allowed, might I sit in and watch your games tonight?

One extremely cobbled-together batch of beast incense, left in your laboratory for study! Consider it a bouquet in honour of the debut of your upcoming class. Good luck!

Regarding the bouquet, it's missing one vital ingredient: moonflowers, or as we call them back home, Lumenflowers. It's far too cold at the moment for them to grow, but if I see any on my journeys I will procure them and bring them to you. Otherwise, it is as it was back home, or as close as I am able to manage it.

Anyone seen a pressure gauge lying around? I know I had it with me when I left for work.

MORDIN SOLUS
[...] You're one of the doctors, right?

PEETA
There's something I should probably tell you, but I don't know how you're going to feel about it.

I don't know how I feel about it, either.

FINNICK
Hey.

Chess club, sex ed, space pods... you people really have everything accounted for here, don't you. Color me impressed.

Who else here is a Teacher? And, more importantly, what are you teaching?

Are you feeling alright? You were running really hot yesterday.

FILTERED NORMANDY CREW:
Attention Normandy Crew! Bit of good news for you today - Mordin, I was about to just pop my head in the lab but this seemed easier to get everyone taken care of - but right.

Archangel has landed. Garrus Vakarian has arrived! Only... thing is that, well. the PodGod made him human. Incredibly human, not like Tali'Zorah where it was a survival thing. But 100% human. Didn't even know it was him at first, but he's awake now and we've been chatting, and he's a bit.. erm. Cranky? Not that I blame him, I sometimes hate being human myself.

Thought you lot might want to come by? Help him out a bit? He hasn't tried walking yet.

FILTERED TO MEDICAL:
One of our latest arrivals is adjusting from being a Turian (alien in the Mass Effect world, Mordin can give more details than I can... probably.) and while he's not hostile, he's a bit upset and could probably use a little extra boost to his morale.

And we've got to help him learn to walk properly.

With most of Jaha gone back to camp we've got the chance to run proper stress tests on all the systems that have been over capacity all winter and see where we need to focus. If anything goes down put in a report but don't worry too much. It's probably just us.

[Infrastructure]
If you're not already working on something else you'll be either checking test results or working on walkies and comms. I know it's not the most exciting work but it's important and it'll hold us over until we can get the build outside going again.

DARCY, thank you so much for loading up my phone with Hamilton songs. I think I might have be a puddle of crying if I couldn't listen to my favorite rapping presidents.

Network Post: Minerva McGonagall

I want to remind anyone who interested in trying wizard's chess, and who isn't too shellshocked from the educational seminar, that tonight's Chess Club meeting will be the first public trial. I would appreciate any feedback you give on how it performs.

Those from my world: you know what to expect from wizard's chess, so please alert me to any deviations in how the chess pieces behave for you or if you notice them in how they behave for any of your opponents.

Those not from my world: the chess pieces should obey your commands to move to the directed space. You will name which piece is to move and the space to which it will go. The correct piece should relocate itself as directed by sliding to that space. In a fully developed wizard's chess set, the pieces would capture the opponent's piece; we will not be testing that behavior just yet, so you will need to manually remove captured pieces from the board. If you are a non-magical person-- a "Muggle"-- I would like to know if the pieces fail to respond to your commands or if they give you any grief. If you're of magical stock, please watch for any irregularities in how they react.

Thank you, and I look forward to seeing you tonight. You may leave your feedback on this post after the meeting.

Well that was a new and overly informative method of torture.

Probably bad timing considering the info session this evening, but I just wanted to say thanks. For the birthday party last week. That was a first meant a lot. Really.

Ok, I... uh...

I keep putting this off. Because most of the time just putting it off seemed to work fine even if it didn't, but with the whole thing this evening, I was wondering...

I have questions and I was wondering if maybe you could... help?

Goddamnit. I thought you were screwing with me! I literally JUST got my ship back. It was clean. I had a crew! One that wasn't gonna threaten to eat me every other day!

I mean, probably not. Not unless I really deserved it??. Or we ran out of snacks.

Speaking of snacks, a big mac would've gone a long way towards making this day suck less, but apparently you BROKE EARTH too. I'm just saying. If you were aiming for Maximum Suckage here, you guys totally nailed it.

Right then. I guess I've not actually gone mad and you lot are all real after all. Or real enough, anyway.

I'm Sarah. How bad is it here?

Already saw Cosima, but I heard Felix and Alison are here too? I've got Kira.
