Broadcasted Live on the radio starting at 10pmThe show opens up with about 15 seconds of CCR's Bad Moon Rising, and the end is overlaid with a genuine wolf howl. Once it fades, Kitty starts talking."Good evening, it's ten o'clock Monday night and you're listening to the first Preyan episode of
The Midnight Hour, the show that isn't afraid of the dark or the creatures who live there. I'm your ever-eager host, Kitty Norville, and I hope you'll join me every weekday evening to talk illuminate the supernatural world around us.
"Tonight's show is going to go in a slightly different direction than others lately. Tonight, we're going to talk the fae. That's right: fairies, Wee Folk, Seelie and every other name they've gone by. I'd like to start out with a story of my own. See, I've only met one fairy before - and he was a pretty bad guy. He was traveling the country, pretending to be a sort of evangelical preacher who was out to cure all vampires and werewolves and whatever else he came across. Well as it turns
out - he wasn't curing anyone. A little investigation on the part of yours truly and a friend, and we discovered that he was actually feeding off their essences and suppressing their supernatural natures - while brainwashing them into working for him. The state we found these people in was pretty bad - they were malnourished and exhausted, and I'm not sure some of them will ever get over what happened.
"If you're wondering how it all turned out - let's just say that St. John's Wort works just as well in a pill as it does in a jar at an herbal shop." A brief pause.
"Now - I want to hear your stories. Do you have any experiences with the fae? The lines are open and I'm here to take your calls."
