Just as you approach the darkest point in your life, you mysteriously receive a one way ticket with the promise of a better life. However, once you've redeemed your ticket, there is no turning back. Some find comfort in their new home, while others are desperate to leave. A revolution is in the works, what side will you take?

[Gabriel]

I can't even think of anything obligatorily social to talk about right now

How long are we going to just not talk about it this time? It absolutely kills me when you do this, you know. You do things your way for a reason. The less I know, the better. Plausible deniability. I've heard it all before in every way you've been able to think of saying it. Do I agree with your methods? Not a majority of the time. We aren't in Overwatch anymore. I'm not here to be the Strike Commander breathing down your neck. I'm here as your husband. Is it so terrible I want to know what the hell my own husband thinks he's up to? Even remotely. I don't sleep at night, Gabriel. I worry. About what decision of yours is going to be the one that finally draws the line.

So, by any chance, does anyone know how to get a pumpkin off of someone's head.

Nothing sharp can be involved and no bodily harm to me. Also don't scratch the pumpkin or anything or I'll hurt you.

Asking for me my husband.

It's October again, which can only mean one thing... my husband is out buying decorations and it's going to look like Jack Skellington threw up all over our house.

Who teaches the people here in interrogation tactics? Softball questions and bad attempts at intimidation aren't going to help you when you have the real bad guys in holding for 48 hours. Your people need training.

You: Self-respecting patron of strong drink. Ruthless card player. Great chest hair (literally or in spirit). Dog person. Seeking a bar that doesn't smell like the Kingsby Tavern piss and broken dreams.

Me: Humble business owner. Very responsible. Straight from Ye Olden Days. Prepared to drink anyone under the table and lose. Did nothing wrong, ever, in my life.

GOOD NEWS! THE GREEN DRAGON IS UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT.
It's down the road from the Tavern-That-Must-Not-Be-Named in Everdale. Free shot for anyone stopping in from out of town — or free coffee, if that's more your thing. Come for the music! Come for the cards! Or, you know, come for the mabari war hound. He likes making new friends.

In all my time here, I've never met one person that questioned about how or what changes happened as a result of their arrival here. Not once was there a question about things of their life, people they knew. Everyone seems to merely accept things as that, and not question. The fault of humanity, perhaps, questioning the things that neededn't be questioned, and not questioning what one should.

It is only now, that those questions are starting, more than mere whispers of a concerned few, but a problem faced by the populace at large.

Why are people similarly disappearing here from Preya, and where do they go?

Are these merely random acts, something that happens without any pattern or reason, or is there perhaps a greater meaning behind them. Is Preya meant to have a balance, and as more people arrive, others must be sent away? Where do these people go, if such is the case? Do they go anywhere, or merely held in some limbo, waiting oto be returned as others disappear?

Do robots have birthdays? I mean, they should, right? They're built, they adapt, they need routine maintenance, they stop working. ... Okay, that last part was a bummer, but I've never actually had one to take care of before. Not that I'm really the one taking care of LB. He's, like, scarily self-sufficient, not to mention he's probably going to outlive me.

So I asked him about it today. You know, as any good human does for their best bot friend. LB said he doesn't need a party, except it's in that ~You're Missing Something But I Won't Tell You What~ voice that sound way too like my exes. (EAT SHIT, BRIAN AND STACEY.) The point is: I have no idea what bots do when they celebrate. Part of me wants to ... I don't know, buy LB a cake? But he doesn't eat anything, so that's out. He's not a dive bar kind of bot either. Tried it once. Got messy fast.

Open to, uh, suggestions here. Like, literally anything. Help.

And here I was thinking thinking I'd already found Hell on Earth.

Fireworks used to give me flashbacks. Now they just get me feeling nostalgic. There isn't enough violence here. It's not normal. I'm getting hungry. No one likes me when I'm hungry.
