Just as you approach the darkest point in your life, you mysteriously receive a one way ticket with the promise of a better life. However, once you've redeemed your ticket, there is no turning back. Some find comfort in their new home, while others are desperate to leave. A revolution is in the works, what side will you take?

So, I came here because my boyfriend had gotten himself blown up by a voodoo cannon ball and I'd been wallowing in grief over the fact that he was dead and I never got to kick his arse for getting killed.

Then what do you know? I get my phone call, ring Melee Island and Guybrush answers. Yep, that's right, my supposedly dead boyfriend.

And now I'm stuck here.

Also, what's the point of being a pirate when you can't actually go anywhere?

Ugh. I wish LeChuck was here so I could punch his ugly face.

Hey, so I heard that they are letting people ring home? Is that still a thing, or has it expired? I figure I should probably ring and check and see that the Tri-Islands haven't blown up without me.

I'm settling in here alright, finally starting to get the hang of this phone, thanks to one of the workers at the docks. I still feel like a bit of a fish out of water, but that's mostly because I guess I'm still dealing with loss.

Do people come here to get away to cope with the loss of a loved one? Because I've tried drinking, but it doesn't really do anything. Christmas was wonderful, but even in a crowded room I felt lonely.

I think the person in charge knew this though. I woke up Christmas morning hearing a scratching and howling noise at my door, upon opening it I found a puppy that looks just like my dog back at home, Guybrush Jr. He actually looks a little more like the puppy I had as a child, Milo, I think it's more like a mix between the two.

I don't feel as lonely anymore, though I still do miss Guybrush, even if he was driving me insane most of the time.

What's everyone got planned for new years? Are there going to be fireworks here? I could probably help out with setting that up? I used to set up wonderful fireworks for the Tri-Island New Year celebrations back home.

Ahoy mates! My name's Elaine Marley, and I thought I'd come and introduce myself! As the introduction might suggest, I'm a pirate, well. Used to be a politician but I figured piracy was slightly more cut throat (depends on who you ask) so I decided to swap the Gubernatorial Seal for a cutlass and gun.

I'm here for a new adventure! Things weren't looking too good back where I came from so I thought I'd give this place a try, a new uncharted land with fantastical technology. This magic journal is insane, took me a while to get the hang of it.

I'm not here to swash buckles though I see there's a ship in the harbor where people can train to sail and all that, I can help you if you want to learn about sailing, knot tying, and even if you want to know how to swing a sword and that sorta thing I can help you with that too! Course that's only if you're old enough, my granddad taught me when I was a little one but we did things differently back in the Tri-Islands!

My main gig is personal training. My granddad taught me to defend myself not only with swords and guns but with my fists and I could knock over even the burliest of pirates who wouldn't take no for an answer. So if you want to get some self defense classes in or just start the new year off with a healthy start, I'm your girl!

Alright, that seems to be it. Anyone know where I can get a drink 'round here? This place is huge and I don't want to get lost. Not that I can really get that far anyway
