Hey Boss, you want I should just bunk down at the Roadhouse over the weekend? Or I could find somewhere in Summerbridge to hole up for a day or two, no biggie. Just, I don't know how long the roads might get shut down and I don't want to miss work. There's not really an easy way for me to get all the way to the Roadhouse from Ravenmoore if the snow gets super bad.

Just as a general announcement Rockbell Automail has officially moved to the Fairy Tail Guild Hall (location details here). To my customers and anyone else who might be interested in mechanical body parts, the new location isn't too far from where my shop used to be, but it's a lot more spacious now. Light, when you get a chance and when all this blizzard stuff is over, could you come over and help me set up all the electronic things again? And if you don't have somewhere to stay for the blizzard, please come over. We have plenty of space here.

That said, if anyone is finding themselves without a warm place to stay around the Summerbridge/Ravenmoore border, please feel free to come over to my shop at the Guild Hall. We've got food and water but most importantly heat. Natsu, Happy and I will make sure you're safe and out of the cold. Be safe, everyone!

I don't know how many people will actually come, but do you think we're ready? There are people back home who live in these types of conditions all the time, and they seem to be just fine. Then again, they're military so that might explain it. Anything I can do to help you prepare? I must not really be built for the cold since I can't seem to get warm no matter how many coats I put on. How am I supposed to help people when I can't even get warm myself?

You know, people might complain and rebel less if this were a nice tropical island and not, I dunno, freezing and prone to an occasional blizzard. Honestly, who wants that?

There's already loads of fancy magic that's being waved about. Is it that much harder to make the weather suck less here? No, seriously, I'd like to know; don't know much about magic because we never had it at home.

Hey I'm curious. So I know there's other people like me that don't really have magic and stuff where we come from. So like, getting here and finding out this is all real is a fucking trip, right? But people who did have magic, this is like, at least you have one foot on the ground when you get here, right? It might be different, but you can figure it out. I'm just curious, what would you all have done if it was the other way around? If you got here and there was no magic at all?

I got to talk to my niece. Would have been nice to do that without being monitored, but it's not like that's new, so I've missed a lot, with her. Birthdays, school plays, Fourth of July's...(Julies? Julyes? Fourths of July?? w h a t) I should have been there for those, and I'm gonna miss more things. I've no idea how to even explain to her, so I just kinda... lied. Is that worse? I think that's worse.

What an extraordinary place. Such Christmas cheer. Such excitement! How to describe in a word... merriment, perhaps? Or too festive? Ah, I do often find difficulty in finding the right words. You know how like people keep disappearing, but like no one is supposed to be able to leave? And like none of the authorities want to really say anything about it, but like, we've all left home for here and it's been like years, and I mean, I didn't think magic was really like, for real back home, but that doesn't mean it wasn't. Like maybe I just never saw it, you know? But here's what I was thinking, like what if the reason people disappear here really doesn't have anything to do with someone doing something here? What if it's like people from back home finding ways to call us back home? You know, like the whole summoning demons thing that witches can do, or whatever, what if someone's summoning people back? I mean, like, has anyone here been home and had someone disappear on them, and then they came here and oop, surprise, they were in Preya the whole time! I mean this is like some crazy shit, and I don't know how any of it works, so how do we know any of this is going down like we thought?

Sorry I went on quiet. Since my wife, son, and friends are gone, I haven't really felt like going out and being social. I guess it's time to get my head together and get out. I don't really know how Remus puts up with me. Anyway, for those who haven't met me, I'm James Potter. I'm still alive.

I've volunteered to work this Halloween with the promise of the day after off. So, hopefully, I'll be pleasantly surprised with only a handful of skinned knees and twisted ankles.

I have been ripped from my home of Everdale and taken to a land I have never known. To have this happen twice on the Ruler's behalf is unsettling, but I am not so sure that he has sensible reasons for this. I only hope that Everdale remains well during my absence.
