Spent too long on the out-of-control carousel that is the occasional magical hiccup here in Preya and I was starting to feel a little motion sick from it all. I spent most of today scrubbing the ick off me because one of you lovelies hasn't invented brain bleach yet, but I think I'm good now.

In my case, I'd like to say how disappointed I am. Satan is generally supposed to be sexy, right? You see him often depicted as a gorgeous blonde in a suit. Usually a white suit, martini glass in his hand. Well groomed, suave, and an air of amused superiority. Getting up close to him is supposed to feel like swimming with a shark, knowing that he could destroy you if he wanted but he won't because he's above all of that. That dangerous, sexy vibe, you know? Well, I've met two Satans now, maybe three if you squint. None of them have measured up.

Are my expectations too high?

Looks like the storm's blown over, as far as I can tell the devil's left town, though there's still traces of the pain he left behind. I'm holding a memorial service in Ravenmoore Square this Sunday the 24th in the evening, we can light candles for those that he took from us.

I need your advice about something. Michael Langdon, our resident Antichrist. There's another archangel here, his name is Michael as well. He is a police officer and he has stated that he wants to kill Michael Langdon as he's worried about the possibility of him hurting anyone here. Since Michael unleashed the blood rain (which I subsequently stopped) I managed to talk Michael down from going after Langdon, and I talked to Langdon and managed to talk him down a little bit as well. I don't want to kill him if I can help it, but clearly that Michael guy's got no qualms about killing.

But at the same time I'm concerned about having an Antichrist running around unchecked, given how volatile the magic is. Think about how bad things could have been if Michael Langdon had been running around with his kinda-dad, the bloodshed in Preya would have been increased tenfold if not more.

Please let me know. My strength's well and truly back now, and with that has come clarity but at the same time I'm at a loss of what to do. And I know that Michael won't wait forever for an answer. And yes, I understand how very confusing it is that they have the same name. Confusing and ironic.

Well, I'm alive, barely. To the owners of the Club Luna establishment, I'd apologise about the mess but it would have been worse had I not been there. More human remains splattered against the walls. I've sent you a cheque that should well and truly cover the clean up.

To the (NPC) families, you have my sincere condolences. Lucifer killed a lot of people, but I got a lot of people out of that nightclub, saved a lot of lives. That should count for something.

It was a little embarrassing though. I passed out, and when I got here, I was pretty much cuddling up to him. I don't think he mentioned it. I already feel like Whitney Houston as it is, and he's Kevin Costner. Mind you, Kevin Costner's taller than he is. He's shorter than me.

I am finally well enough to make proper introductions, though I must ask that you forgive any blunders which may occur as I compose this message. I am quite unaccustomed to apparatuses of this sort. I had a friend back home, Henry Branwell. He enjoyed tinkering with mechanisms on a regular basis. I'm quite sure he would be rather fascinated by this place.

As I understand it, this is a place where people of extraordinary abilities reside. I myself am what is called a Shadowhunter, a Nephilim. For the last few days I have been feeling a terrifying sense of dread creeping over me. It wasn't until today that it seemed to escalate into a revelation.

There is a dark presence here. They have not been here long, but long enough to disturb the peaceful tranquility of this place. Every time I try and focus on the energy to try and find out more information on who it is, I recoil.

I'm warding this to all the angels that are here. I sensed this dark presence and I can still feel it now, if it weren't for my dreamcatcher I would probably be feeling it more strongly, but the calming presence is satisfying.

I know not all of you are from the same place as me and my brothers, but the presence is keeping me on edge, my wings have been out since I became aware of its presence, and I'm unable to completely relax.

Let me know your thoughts and please let me know if anyone else sensed this disturbance, or if anyone might know who or what the cause of it is.

I'm glad I missed Christmas.

I am new to Preya. I'll be teaching and researching starting in the new semester at the university. I'm Professor Lera Melnikova. I was formly with the Spetsnaz, Rainbow, and a CBRN specialist, but that's behind me. I wanted to do more good, so I decided to come to Preya. I will be teaching and researching microbiology and immunology. Ricin, anthrax, sarin gas, ebola, VX gas - chimera viruses that can kill you with a drop of blood or one wrong breath. I've worked with them all and I can teach you about them. I'd also like to learn about any others that are out there.

Brothers! I have an idea! I think we should partake in a road trip all around Preya! We can see what each region is like and it'll be a way for us to spend some time together! It shouldn't take us more than a week, but we should explore the areas. I'm sure it'll be fun!

Been a while since I've posted on here, but I've had a few good things happen to me since then. For one thing, I'm not living alone anymore. I have not one, but two animal companions. The first was gifted to me by the Ruler, a small puppy that seems to look very similar to the stray I used to have back in Canisbay. Probably the only good memory I have of my human life was when I was helping out that dog, like me it was the runt of the litter and the day my mother drowned it was the day I gave up on happiness.

Funnily enough, I've decided to call him Oscar.

My second companion I came across last night. I was in the backyard, letting off some steam (literally) when I heard a sad whimpering noise from over the fence. There's a small forested area not far from where I live in Ravenmoore, I'm sure other people who live there are familiar. It didn't take me long to find the source. A beautiful dog was injured and caught in a bed of thorns, it looked like its leg had been dislocated slightly. I managed to take him home and heal him up nicely, but since then he's never left my side. He looks just like my Growley used to, and strangely enough, I think he actually is part Hellhound. Not full, obviously because Hell doesn't fully exist in this place, but his eyes go red sometimes, and I'm certain that ten years could pss here and he wouldn't look a day older. But aside from the red eyes and occasional preference for rare meat he's an ordinary dog. As he looks just like my Growley, I've called him that. It's like this place brought him back for me...

It's with these string of circumstances that I've decided to go ahead with my plans. They're not diabolical, so put away the rock salt. I've decided to open up an Animal Shelter, because I'm sure there are other lost animals out there that are hurt or have been through traumatic experiences. I wouldn't be surprised if somehow animals are being sent here from different places and their displacement gives them trauma, or maybe abused animals are being sent here for better lives. I have had years training and caring for animals, I can understand what they say and calm them if they're particularly distressed. I know I took a trip down to Everdale the other day to the Infinite Sanctuary and met some of the dragons there. I even felt comfortable bringing out my own wings and I felt strangely at peace there, petting them and listening to their comforting purrs.

The shelter will most likely be in Ravenmoore, unless I decide somewhere else would be better. I'd welcome suggestions, and if anyone is interested in volunteering, let me know. It's still very much in the planning works for now, but it's something I'm going to be starting up in 2019.

I like this place. I like being alive. I'm happy here. I've... never had the opportunity to let myself be happy, but I am. I like to think all the pain that I've been through, all the injustices, all the betrayal, this is... yeah. It's good.
