oh boy, group work is so awesome. it makes me delightfully happy. why didn't i engage in full-on group work before. i've been missing out basically my whole life.

(now can i have a gold star, mom? can i?)

hi boss. funny story. i was out scavenging for what i think will be not exactly primitive settlements and i happened upon some decommissioned missiles - interesting, sure. let's not think about how they got there.

i took apart one of the warheads and found palladium! some parts that i could use to build a self-sustaining power supply for at least one settlement. maybe more. depends on what you've got.

It's been a busy and difficult month for all of us, so I wanted to take a moment to say a few things. Let me put my Councilor hat on real quick.

First, I'm proud of the way we've handled ourselves in the wake of Storybrooke. Many of us were put into uncomfortable situations, myself included, and we all have to find a way to live in the aftermath of that. And many of us were here, instead, which caused its own problems. When I first considered running for the Council, one of the things that was important to us was fixing the justice system here. Essentially, that's involved starting over, almost completely. It was important to me that we let go of the system from the Ark, and that we moved towards something more productive for society. We've had some trouble. It's been a slow and difficult process. But I believe it's working. I think we've proven that recently. With your help, and with the hard work of our law enforcement and lawyers, we were able to fully investigate what happened. I'm proud of that. What justice means to each of us is different. We all come from different places, and we all have unique experiences. That's a good thing, but I know it's difficult, too. Sometimes that's going to mean letting go of what we're used to and finding a compromise. Adapting to a new system isn't easy for anyone, but that's why it's so rewarding to see our community come together. My biggest hope moving forward is that we can find a way to heal from our experiences, individually and as a community.

Second, I know there's been a lot of discussion about the offer made to us by the Coalition. This is an enormous decision, and one none of us took lightly. We should be hearing from our delegates soon, with any luck, and they'll be able to tell us how their time in Polis went. There are a lot of concerns, and a lot of fear. I get that. But I'm sure there are a lot of those on the other side, too, and that's why encouraging a positive relationship with the other Grounder clans is crucial. There's so much we don't understand about each other, and if we continue to isolate ourselves from the world at large, we will only give fuel to that fear. We have so many things to offer each other, if we're willing to try. We see that with Lincoln. We've seen that with Dela and the other Floukru. We know it's possible. We can help each other instead of continuing to feed into a cycle of isolationism. Whatever the outcome of this meeting at Polis is, I hope we're able to continue building relationships with the other people who inhabit this planet.

... I guess that wasn't as quick as I thought it'd be. Oops. I'm done now, I promise. May the 4th be with you.

How are you doing?

hey mount weather! thanks for messing things up for me to fix successfully ...

hey jen, i like you better in g

also thanks for setting up all the stereotypes i ever had about living in the 'burbs. (they're true. they're ALL true. holy hell.)

Okay. You were all right. You happy?

STORYBROOKE: Tom Smith - 001

there are angry bees in the supply shed behind the football field. don't come unless you have an epi pen.

before you ask i didn't do anything to the strawberries
but some people might be allergic, meaning they could go into post-apocalyptic anaphylactic shock and die

because of strawberries, so i am not hating this strawberry free zone

I am trying very, very hard not to freak out here, but it's kind of hard when I just woke up in a pod on a radiation ridden post-apocalyptic Earth. Things were getting pretty other-worldly on Earth, but this? I didn't expect this. Ten again I didn't exactly expect aliens or robots who wanted nothing but the end of human existence either. I think I might be sick.

I just got out of medical and I need to get to my room assignment, so I can freak out in private but I was told there are people here who I should know.

ok i get it. you're all heroical do-gooders running on caffeine that never did a wrong thing a day in your life. i get that coffee is prized above all else. because hey. otherwise we're subsisting on blue stuff and veronica's witty banter.

... didn't you ever grow pot in a window unit when you were in college? no. just me. okay. i'm pretty sure i can engineer you a tiny adorable greenhouse. if that's a Thing and You Want It. (never say tony stark's handsome mug doesn't class a place up immediately.)

so here's what i need:
  • space (i'm thinking a sturdy table, some of your adorable midcentury aesthetic lighting and tubing)
  • set me up near a water source
  • reflective material
  • some fancy do-gooder that makes things grow faster

  • and we're done

    network; bigby wolf (015)

Someone needs to either grow (or find) more coffee or get their hands on some goddamn tobacco. Expecting me to give up both is cruel and unusual.

damn, but i was getting ready to head for my fifth papa doble. that's what i get for mixing sun, rum and government business.

so, stop me if you heard this one before ...

albert einstein and carl jung walk into a bar. it's called the relative archetype and they order an adorably post-apocalyptic landscape. mister rogers (cardigan and all) sidles up next to them and he's got some loaded potato storybook characters and liberally sprinkles it with random friends. then enter sandman and what the eff, here we are.

so stop stampeding, get me a kale smoothie (with an umbrella), and we're in business.

YO! Attn: Some Douchebag Named Grant; Sing me the song of your people & tell me about yourself.

Oh and since I didn't introduce myself last time since I was too busy being mad about multiverse, I'm Jess Drew. Spider-Woman. From the arguably more fucked up Avengers & X-Men world, but I say arguably because I like to leave a little chance that the other one might still beat us. No, I'm not related to Peter Parker or any of the other Spider-People, but they're the good sort and I'll punch you if you're mean to them.

    Feb. 18th, 2016

I am so sick and tired of this universe jumping crap and everything going to shit.

You know what? Avengers Assemble. So you can all kiss my ass.

    Feb. 17th, 2016

Still don't really get this whole network thing, but Steve says writing messages here is standard. Guess I've heard crazier things, so here goes nothing...

You can call me Bucky. The doc says I should be getting out of the medical wing soon, so I get to rediscover what it's like being a contributing member of society. I guess I If there's an Alison Hendrix reading this, I'll stop by to introduce myself. Looks like you're my new boss.

What are we going to do about him?

Also, seems we lost quite a few members. Time to get some more. Preferably those with superpowers.

    Feb. 14th, 2016

Singles night was fun and cards today as well. I love learning new card games. I just wish we had more to gamble for.

For those who are interested, we do mini sabacc tournaments on Thursday nights in case anyone wants to join in.

    Dancing is still intimidating though.

Thanks for the dance lessons. I think I'll play to my strengths and stick to cards though.

ANDROID PARTS. Maybe it's my birthday. Or maybe it's just fantastic luck. I don't really care about the whys, this is awesome.

    Feb. 11th, 2016

    Pepper's gone.

And before anyone asks if I'm sure. I refer you to the fact that I am me.

If anyone needs me, don't. I'll be trying to drink my own body weight in whiskey.

    Feb. 10th, 2016

Okay, the gym is great, I love the gym, BUT I did think it would be awesome to have something more for people to work on agility. Like an obstacle course. Outside, but close enough it won't be interfering with the hunters or anything. Anyone else interested? This is only 40% a selfish proposal!

    I don't think that's your mom either.

    Feb. 9th, 2016

I wasn't aware something like this was actually possible: traveling to a different dimension, through time.

    [Friends minus Phoebe]*
Before one of you finds out and starts teasing me and accuses me of hiding it, I thought I'd just let you know that I'm seeing someone - Phoebe Halliwell.

    be gentle.
