The 100; a panfandom game

Well, that was disappointing.

Any of you who had the good sense to vote for me probably shouldn't acknowledge that in public.

But if you let me know in private, I'll make sure you're rewarded for being the smart and sexy voter you are. After all, I did say I would.

In this world, the teacup can shatter ad infinitum Despite last week's little upset, I have found the fishing in this world to be akin to my own. Letting the river flow, waiting patiently for the quarry and baiting the hook are similar no matter where your feet are planted.

And I feel as though I have a good idea of the selection here to begin crafting our lures. I will not share.

Dealing with loss and bloodshed and all the rest that comes with danger and fighting — fear, adrenaline, injury, and so on — isn't easy. It's especially not easy when we're cooped up like this. At home, my brother and I just kept moving, distracting ourselves with the next job and the next.

I'm not going to say that's the healthiest coping strategy, but it worked for us. And it's my first instinct to run away from things rather than try to deal with them, but we can't, because we're stuck here. In multiple different ways, because of the storm, because we can't get back to our own worlds, and so on.

Trying to deal with it all on my own isn't really doing me much good, either. I know I'm not the only one, so I was thinking — after dinner, in the mess hall, maybe we can all just sit together for a minute. Anyone who wants to speak can do that, or we can just have a sort of silent vigil. For anything and everything that's on our minds right now.

I'll be there, for anyone who wants to join me. And for anyone who can't make it — if you're in the hospital, or for any other reason — maybe we can come to you, for a little bit. Let me know if that's something you're interested in.

Are you alright? I know I don't truly know you but it is never easy having a patient die on you, even if you know there's no chance in saving them. Nothing makes it easier

People keep disappearing from here, much like we were from our own realities, and yet there seems to be a pervasive lack of curiosity as to where the missing were taken.

So, people of the mountain, what do you think? Is there some Maxwell's Demon at the lever, making sure to keep the ultimate metaphysical balance? Are they in some reality more hellish than this one? Was their disappearance intentional, and they're now being tortured for information? Perhaps we're all slowly descending the levels of Dante's hell, and one day we'll come face to face with Judas himself. Who knows? By then we could have all well earned our spots.

If death is the great equalizer, I wonder what one should call this.
