Inevitably, we've all fall asleep in the first, like, five minutes, but we were all together.

It looks as though you've got quite the situation on your hands running this place. The admin office is abuzz with multiple issues pertaining to the werewolves.

If I might be so bold, I'd like to offer my services. I was Deputy Mayor back home, but our mayor was largely a figurehead, so I'd been handling the duties for years. If you need an assistant, I am more than qualified and would happily help you liaise between you and the people.

I've never been fond of introductions so I'll cut to the chase. My name is Snow White, and I've heard that you've met my Sheriff, Bigby Wolf. I'm Deputy Major of Fabletown, a small community in New York City that has been around for quite some time to protect our secret. Like most of you, we're not from around here, and aren't even from the same world that we were taken from. Our Fabletown Compact normally forbids me from speaking so plainly (under severe penalties) but it's my understanding that many of you are also from stories — some written in books, some in movies and television — and I'm interested in hearing about you and working together.

I don't remember if I've mentioned this -- tomorrow is the dedication ceremony for the Memorial Garden. It'll be held at 2 p.m., and I'd like to invite both Steve and Adaar, as well as Chancellor Griffin and anyone else who wants to, to join me in speaking. Or sing a song, or anything that comes to you as we gather. This will be a time of remembrance for those who lived here with us and were taken away too soon, whether by death or returning to their homes. After that, the garden will be open every day from dawn to sunset, and anyone is welcome to make use of it.

With every month and every obstacle thrown your way you all continue to embody the very nature of humanity that I have always believed in. So, I thank you, for all that you have done and will continue to do.

Yesterday you all cast your votes in favor of the two candidates that you felt would best represent your needs and concerns in the days to come. I -- along with Councillor Kane -- counted the votes and the council is honored to welcome Asala Adaar and Steve Rogers. Councillor Adaar and Rogers I personally welcome you to the council and look forward to working with you both. You both are welcome to address everyone just prior to dinner.

I have a few things that I would like to discuss with the four of you

Thanks to Sarah's wonderful suggestion, I've started planning sex education lessons for our children. For each age group, we will provide developmentally appropriate information, mostly focused on understanding their anatomy and preparing for the changes that will occur during puberty. We'll also cover gender identity, sexual orientation, body safety & consent, and the reproductive process -- including, yes, how babies are conceived -- again, always at an age-appropriate level.

Parents: Of course, you may have concerns about what your children will hear. Or you may wish to teach them yourself, but you're not sure what to say. Many of you come from a time when sex wasn't spoken about, ever, and even today it can be an intimidating topic! So you're invited, too. If there's interest, we can have a parents-only session first, to give you an idea of how we teach this subject and why it's so important. Otherwise, you're welcome to attend your child's lesson. If all goes well, we can start next week.

Not a parent? Don't tune out just yet! I'm also organizing a session for teenagers & adults who may not have gotten this education back home, as well as those who'd like a refresher. This class will include a little more grown-up information, including condom demonstrations and other safe sex tips. You'll also have the chance to ask questions in an open-minded, judgment-free zone!

If you're interested in attending, or in assisting with these presentations, please let me know. I'd especially love to have someone (perhaps from medical?) who can discuss the birth control options available here.

You are all, of course, welcome to attend and/or teach these classes with me. We may not have a huge student population here, but they will need to be split into several age groups. Besides, the best type of sex ed is an ongoing discussion. Any of us could end up fielding questions from the kids we're entrusted with, so it's important for us to be prepared with answers!

We haven't really had a chance to talk lately. How are you, Clarke?

Good afternoon!

Since I last addressed all of you a lot has happened. I know more than a few of you must be upset, confused, and have questions that you still want answered. If you need to ask them, please do, ask. And I know a handful of you are even awaiting answers to questions already asked. All of your answers will be answered in due time. Today I am addressing you all to announce that a few changes will be taking effect soon. And to clarify how everything is run currently.

In regards to how our government runs only a few minor changes will be taking place. If you grew up on the Ark you are aware that we have governed much the same way that we have for generations. An elected Chancellor and appointed council members. As Chancellor, I will still be your leader, and the council will remain the same. Soon the open seats will be filled by those of you lobbying for the position. I look forward to welcoming our new council members in the near future. Together we will take charge of the military. If you have been assigned to the “military” you will still report to those you have been reporting to up to this point. What is changing is that with a unanimous vote we will now give the order to mobilize for war if the need to mobilize arises. I hope that it will never come to that but we must be prepared.

In addition to these changes the council and I have decided that everything would run much smoother -- and give us room to more efficiently manage more -- if we had a civilian and criminal department in place. And I believe many of you will agree with this. Our newly set up civilian department will manage much of the personal information gathered for all citizens. They will handle any and all civil disputes that arise. While you are still welcome to address myself or one of the council members directly to voice your concerns, we cannot always guarantee a quick reply. A civil department, however, can guarantee that your concerns are addressed in a timely fashion.

Our newly established criminal department will take charge of managing all crimes committed, as well as, investigating any and all disappearances. For those who are unaware, on the Ark any crime committed above the age of majority was punishable by floating. There was no court of law or trial that many of you are accustomed to. If you were under the age of majority you were sent to lockup. And when you reached the age of majority your case was reviewed. Those of us who grew up on the Ark grew up knowing these rules and the consequences of breaking them. If you were caught you paid the price. The Exodus Charter -- which we have followed since returning to Earth -- included many of those same rules and we have upheld them.

The council and I have decided -- after much debate -- to do away with our one punishment fits every crime law that we have upheld for generations. Instead the punishment awarded for crimes committed will now fit the crime you commit. For now we will be working closely with the criminal department to ensure that these punishments are reasonable and fair. We have also decided that the previous law of one child per family is a piece of our past that we can do away with. From now on it is not considered a crime to have more than one child.

We have also decided to create a small court of law. With the creation of this court of law and the other changes we have made we have now opened the door for a few new jobs. Which I am certain you will approve of, Mr. Nelson.

For now we’d like you all to continue working at your assigned posts. When the new jobs have been posted you’ll be made aware.

I don't know why the apparitions happened, but I'll confirm those events took place about six months ago in this facility. If anyone has questions about what we saw today, I'll do my best to answer them.
