MCU MINUS GRANT WARD:
I say Ultron, you say... what?[Spoilers for Age of Ultron in the comments]
I say Ultron, you say... what?[Spoilers for Age of Ultron in the comments]
There seem to be more of us here than I realized at first, and while I think you all know me - or a version of me, in any case - I don't know some of you, and I think that should change.[ooc: so basically, if you were ever an avenger, go ahead and reply. steve doesn't really care to differentiate between the different teams because he's used to just the one team, so everyone is an avenger to him.]
So I'm proposing we all get together sometime, make introductions, get to know one another. Play bingo. We can make it a regular thing whenever another one of ours shows up here, just to make sure no one thinks they're being ignored and so everyone gets caught up.
And of course, if any of you have questions for me or about the world I come from, I'm all ears.
Okay, turns out I do need some help after all.
Say there's this woman you've been talking to, and she asks you out. How do you tell her that you've never... well, never had time to date before. Or no one was interested. Or that maybe you were waiting for the right person to actually be interested in you, and you never met that person, and then when you finally did, the timing was never right and some things just never happened. How do you say any of this without scaring someone off?
We're still missing a few members of our team, but there's no time like the present to start sorting ourselves out. We'll just play catch-up with the others if they ever get here.BUCKY BARNES (MCU):
Despite the troubling things I've heard about what's been going on back home under our noses (and, go figure, behind my back in a world I tried to change, and apparently failed at again), I don't think there's much point in us worrying about it from here, not when there's nothing we can do about it. What I'm more concerned with is how we're settling in here and how we can make the most of this situation moving forward. Make friends, especially with the people from this world. Make ourselves useful. We're not going to make friends by ordering everyone around like we know better.
I'm sure some of our allies from our world won't be thrilled to hear me say this, because there's someone here who has done some pretty awful things to them, and I want to respect their feelings, but until we have a better grasp of this place - and, more importantly, until the leaders here begin to trust us - we can't exactly try to have Ward punished for the things he's admitted to, or the things other people have said he's done. I know none of us would like it if newcomers swept in and tried to do the same thing to us, and without any physical proof, I don't think we'd get very far. For now, I think it's best if we just keep our eyes out and get settled in. If something happens here, we'll address it and bring up whatever relevant history there is. I'm not saying this makes it right. What I'm saying is that we're not the judge and jury. And I think he's willing to talk to me, at least, so I can see if there's anything I can do to make this easier on everyone.
Oh, and Tony, this is Sam. We call him Falcon. Sam, this is Tony. You've already heard about him.
Now, we all remember me testing out how well the serum works when I bring a helicarrier down on top of me, right?
Hey, just thought I'd check in. How are you doing?
Hey folks, we're being called out. We've had a few more pods drop from the sky, and the one we're heading for is at [coordinates]. Dress warmly and in layers, we're still dealing with some chilly weather.
Wilson, you want to break out those wings of yours? It'd be a lot of help if we can have some eyes in the sky.
Let's be ready to move out in about an hour.
