I'm reaching out to you because we've either been in this discussion since the beginning, or you are friends with Marie D'Ancanto. Myself, I feel the weight of responsibility because the woman we seek is Jadis, the White Witch of Narnia.

So, I'm reaching out to Steve Rogers and Snow White. Not because I do not think we're incapable of figuring up a way to save Marie and the others who came to this fate, but because we can't do anything without a plan - we found Marie because she wanted us to. We don't know where she is, what kind of associates she keeps, we do not have any intelligence. Therefore, we must wait for her to come to us.

Aslan's right out. There is no hope in him. We must look to our own strength. That's why I think the best idea is to include our Councilors and Command to set up some rules. But in the meantime, if we all watch one another's back and if we don't go off alone ... we'll be in a better position to fight her when she finally shows herself.

I'm sure you've seen by now that Marie D'Ancanto has been found turned to stone. And while we've all been guessing at the activities of this White Witch, the one our people called Jadis, I'm now confident that it's her. In Narnia, she could travel between worlds. She'd even been to our London once, before going back and obtaining immortality.

But when Rogue found her - when she spoke of sleigh bells, when the snow began to fall again - I've got it all sealed quite up in my mind. It's her. And here are a couple more ways to know it:

Track the patterns of people who live around the mountain. See where they're going and how they flow. She'll start to gather power around her.

Watch for snow. It's begun again, and it's a herald of her power. I have hope that the snow is wet, heavy and hard to stay, well. Snow. Perhaps she is not full-powered. But if she can sledge about in it, that's her sign. She wants us to know she's come.

Watch our people, please. Many of them are very powerful in their own world and I think could be tempted to Jadis' way of thinking if she positions herself in the right of their thinking. It wouldn't shock me if she'd already had spies among us.

At the edge of this, I truly don't believe we'll find her until she is quite ready. Her power will shield her from our view, unless you have technology I'm not familiar with. But I think we can be well-prepared to defend against her, whilst we find a way to determine exactly how to fix those people turned to stone.

We found Marie.

She's been turned to stone. And yeah, Edmund, I heard sleigh bells in the area.

So is there an actual plan for dealing with the one doing this?

Medical has found recent evidence of an infection that is resistant both to antibiotics and to magic. We are all under orders to report to Medical with any wound that breaks the skin, no matter how minor. Even if you would ordinarily call it "just a scratch" and forget about it, report to Medical immediately. It may mean your life or someone else's. Logan, I know this isn't likely to apply to you, as most any wound you receive would heal itself before you could even reach Medical, but please note if you find that the process ever happens to take longer than you would normally expect.

Cassandra and I just received this report from Rescue & Recovery, which I've cut down to the relevant points:

"About half a dozen people were found in that frozen state, and another ten or so were killed. It looks like a battle of some sort, but we're not sure what happened.

We're sending R&R out to recover the bodies so we can give them proper burial. The statues are just like the others. Hard as a rock, no real way to draw blood or any other kind of medical test to see what's going on."

Is this in keeping with what you know of the witch's powers?

We and Squad Charlie will be investigating the area for signs of the following:
- the presence of a sled
- anything turned to stone
- a tall woman clad in white, possibly accompanied by a dwarf

We will be proceeding east from the mountain entrance and going no more than one hour out at this time.

If you do encounter this woman, do not engage. Keep your distance, report your location, and return.

There is no certainty that this woman, Jadis, is in fact present. There are many other possible explanations for the animals and people turned to stone and ice, but she is likely the most dangerous of them. As such, I expect everyone to proceed with all caution until we have gathered more information about the situation.

Logan, you go solo. Isaac and Rose, stick together; likewise Bruce and Sarah. Susan, you're with me.

According to one of my soldiers, the stone butterfly found yesterday may be indicative of a larger threat: Jadis, the White Queen of Narnia.

There is no reason at this time to be certain she is the cause. There is also no evidence that she is not, however. Requesting permission to take my squad to investigate further.

Good morning. I am contacting the four of you because we may have a magical danger afoot, and you are the mages with whom I am personally acquainted.

One of my soldiers, Susan Pevensie, believes that the stone butterfly found yesterday may be a real butterfly that has been magically turned into stone. If that is the case, the only way she is aware of to reverse the process is through the power of a lion named Aslan. We think it prudent to investigate whether any of the magic held by others here might also serve to undo what has been done.

You four undoubtedly know more magic-wielders here than I do. Can you study the stone butterfly and see if you can determine what has been done to it and how it might be undone?

We'll also be doing crew requests with our stage manager, Cullen Rutherford, so even if you don't want to sing and dance, stop by anyway and see him.

Even if you've never been on stage before, this is a great community enrichment opportunity and way to make friends. We've just lost a lot of people, including a few of our veteran actors, so we'll need all hands on deck for this one, okay? Give it a shot, first-timers!

As I was out on my run this morning, I discovered a pond. It appears to be a new pond. I am uncertain as to whose duties this would fall under (Scout teams?), but someone should probably investigate to be certain it is not a deadly or evil pond.

Good afternoon. I am addressing you on behalf of Sergeant Lehane and myself, as we have arranged a joint training exercise for this Thursday.

The objective of the exercise is for both teams to build rapport within their squads and to practice dealing with different sorts of threats and tactics in a specific situation.

In this case, the situation is an escort mission. They occur here from time to time - negotiations with the Grounders have sometimes required us to travel through enemy territory to guard a non-combatant diplomat, for instance.

Messere Buffy Summers has agreed to be our non-combatant requiring escort for the purpose of this exercise. Some of you may be aware that she is not in fact at all incapable of looking after herself; do not count on that to be the case here, for she will be acting as though she has no capabilities greater than hiding and covering her head.

Bravo Squad will be acting as the escorts, with the objective of getting Messere Buffy from Mount Weather to a designated point on the ridge between us and the Dropship. Charlie Squad will be acting as a hostile occupying force, attempting to prevent the mission's success by kidnapping Messere Buffy and returning to a predetermined location.

No one is to attempt to kill an opposing team member, however, injuries are to be expected in an exercise such as this. Medical has been notified, and we will have a healer on hand. We expect that anyone who is severely injured will go to the healer promptly rather than sacrificing an undue amount of blood for training, whilst also expecting that no one will pansy out for a papercut. We will be working with the lab on non-lethal ammunition for rifles; if it cannot be procured in time, we will have to rely on bows, spears, and other thrown weapons for ranged attacks. We will update you on the guns-or-no-guns status as soon as we are able.

Should you find yourself in a position where an opposing team member clearly could have killed you if they were a real enemy, you are to remove yourself from the scene as "dead."

The exercise will begin at sunrise. Expect it to take up the entirety of your day.
